Some Intimacy - Photographing Fame: 1941-1960

The changing face of fame on camera, from co-operation to confrontation, is traced in this fourth documentary. From Sam Shaw's famous image of Marilyn Monroe's billowing skirt, taken to publicise THE SEVEN YEAR ITCH in 1954, to Dennis Stock's armospheric image of James Dean in Time Square, part of a 1955 photo essay on the star.
