国土交通省からイナサ建設へ派遣されたダイク・マキナ。いよいよダイクのスペックが明かされる。部長からの無茶振り業務もなんのその。マイはダイクのその便利さに心酔する。ダイクの歓迎会で「2年前の事故」をめぐってマイと建築士寺崎が一触即発…。マイは歓迎会の帰り道に女性建築士、女乃都ハルに未だ過去（事故）となかなか決別できない心情を吐露する。
Daiq Machina has been dispatched from the Ministry to Inasa Construction. His specs are finally revealed as he effortlessly handles unreasonable demands from the Department Head. Mai is captivated by Daiq's convenience. However, at Daiq's welcome party, tensions flare between Mai and the architect Terasaki regarding "the accident two years ago." On the way home, Mai reveals to Haru Menoto, a female architect, that she still struggles to move on from the past.
