  • S02E01 Mission: Carrots

    Kika is a golden labrador and guide dog for her owner Dr Amit, who is blind, which means he cannot see. She is trained to use her supersight to help Dr Amit do as many things as he can by himself. Together, they make the best team! Dr Amit is helping Raj the grocer judge the carrots in the fruit and veg competition at the Woofton country fair. Kika is helping Dr Amit, including with the mouthwatering task of finding the tastiest carrot in Woofton! But when Amit has to bring the prize-winning carrots to the photographer from the Woofton Gazette, Kika must guide Amit safely back through the maze of stalls, visitors and obstacles while carrying a precious carrot cargo.

    Dan the border collie is a search and rescue dog who works with his owner Jamie. His super nose follows scents and smells so they can rescue people who need their help. A local artist is painting the view of Woofton from a hill. But when the wind gets too strong, he gets lost on his way down. Dan and Jamie are called to try to find him. Dan finds the artist's scent, leading him to his painting. Jamie recognises the scene and takes the lead, but the weather is getting worse. Can Dan's super nose lead them to the artist in time?

    Newfoundland Sylvie is a big therapy dog who loves to help people when they are worried with big soft cuddles. She and her owner Katrina visit all sorts of people every day, young and old. Sylvie and Katrina are helping a little boy called Alfie who is visiting his great-grandfather 'Pop-Pop' for the first time at the Woofton Care Home - and Alfie’s a bit nervous. Pop-Pop has just moved in, so the care home is a new place for everyone. And a new place needs a brave face. Sylvie has a feeling lots of people will be in need of her super heart!

    Diesel is a hearing dog for his teenage owner, Rayane, who is deaf. This means he does not hear everything. Diesel is trained to listen out for important sounds that Rayane might miss. Diesel is Rayane’s ears. Together, they are unstoppable! Rayane is playing the detective in the drama club play, and Diesel is going to be right by his side as his trusty police dog. At the theatre, Diesel helps Rayane and his friend Grace practise for something called a 'cue' - their big moment to go on stage. Diesel must give Rayane a nudge when he hears two rings from a big red telephone. But during the show, someone’s phone goes off in the audience! Can Diesel save the day and make sure that Rayane takes to the stage at the right time?

    Tinks is a disability assistance dog for her owner Charli, who has a condition that makes it painful for her to pick things up or to push and pull things. Tinks uses her super fetch skills to help Charli every day. Charli is helping park ranger Pauline with some litter picking in Woofton Park. First they have to travel across the tricky terrain in the park to meet Pauline, so she can give them the instructions and equipment they need. Tinks persuades Charli to use the motor on Charli’s wheelchair at turbo speed! Tinks helps Charli find the litter, but the gate to the recycling bins is locked, and the recycling van is on its way. Can Tinks fetch park ranger Pauline in time to recycle their rubbish?
