Dora und Boots sind gemeinsam auf dem Weg zur Schule, als sie plötzlich aus der Ferne eine Melodie vernehmen: Da singt doch tatsächlich jemand Boots' Lieblingslied. Sie folgen den Klängen und sehen schließlich Boots' Musiklehrerin, auch 'La Maestra Musica' genannt, die auf ihrem Fahrrad munter vor sich hinträllert. Boots macht Dora und die Lehrerin miteinander bekannt. Auf einmal ertönt die Schulglocke. Nun muss die Musiklehrerin sich sputen, um rechtzeitig in der Schule anzukommen. Sie schwingt sich auf ihr Fahrrad und radelt los, als plötzlich die Fahrradkette reißt. Können Dora und Boots der verzweifelten Lehrerin helfen, damit sie doch noch pünktlich ist?
Dora and Boots are going to school, on their way they heard someone singing Boots' favorite song. Following the song they discovered it was coming from a lady on a bike, it was Boots' "La Maestra Musica" (Boots' Music Teacher). Boots introduces Dora to his Music Teacher, when they heard the school bell La Maestra had to get to school before all the students does. When La Maestra's bike chain broke down, Dora and Boots helps La Maestra by going through the Town, over Musical Mountain and to the School.

Seguindo a música eles descobrem que ele estava vindo de uma mulher em uma bicicleta, era "La Maestra Musica" de Botas (Professora de Música de Botas). Botas apresenta Dora a sua professora de música, quando ouvem a campainha da escola La Maestra tem que chegar à escola antes de todos os alunos. Quando a corrente da bicicleta de La Maestra quebra, Dora e Botas ajudam La Maestra atravessando a cidade, a Montanha Musical e a Escola.
