Poonam asks her friends to keep an eye on the municipality officer, to check whether he is involved in removing the file. Mangaladevi brings food for Poonam. Poonam helps a farmer in saving his crops from a zamindar. On Poonam's instructions, her friends give a fake file to the officer. However, the officer gives the file to Poonam. Poonam deduces that the officer is innocent, and suspects the personal assistant of the education minister.
