Lucious and Cookie prep their new artist Devon for a premiere listening party, but worry he may not be ready for that kind of pressure. Hakeem is determined to convince Tiana that he’s matured, but she has a hard time letting go of everything they’ve struggled through the past couple years. Meanwhile, Cookie becomes concerned about Jamal.

Lucious (Terrence Howard) und Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) bereiten ihren neuesten Künstler Devon auf eine spezielle Premierenparty vor, jedoch machen sie sich auch sagen, dass dieser dem Druck einer solchen Veranstaltung noch nicht gewachsen ist. Hakeem (Bryshere Gray) möchte Tiana (Serayah) derweil beweisen, dass er reifer geworden ist. Sie hat aber Problem, ihm diese Entwicklung abzunehmen, waren die letzten Jahre zwischen den beiden doch alles andere als einfach. Cookie macht sich andernorts ebenfalls ihre Gedanken über Jamal (Jussie Smollett).
