~ For my mom Many of you may have heard this melody while watching cartoons, and some of you may even know the words. A version of it was featured in Studio Ghibli's "Grave of the Fireflies" at a specific sad point. There are not a multitude of new recordings of this song, which is a shame. It proved a very difficult song in the end, and I had a lot of trouble singing it...so the performance is not what I'd like it to be.
