Greg macht ihn auf einen College-Eignungstest aufmerksam, den Leute ohne Abschluss machen können und die dann bei Bestehen mit Highschool-Absolventen gleichgestellt sind. Nachdem Chris den Test gemacht hat, warten alle gespannt auf das Ergebnis.
It's the last week of school and while Drew decides he wants to try out for Amateur Night at the Apollo even without a talent at his disposal, Chris is informed that if he gets one more tardy he will have to repeat the 10th grade. But one day he misses the bus and arrives at school late, forcing him to deliver the bad news to his parents.
Chris dá o melhor de si para evitar que chegue novamente atrasado na escola, mas ele chega atrasado graças ao professor Thurman, que quis que fosse assim. Se ele chegar atrasado mais uma vez, ele terá de repetir 1º ano do 2º grau.Quando repete decide sair da escola e fazer o supletivo. Drew entra em um show de talentos no Apollo Theater, embora ele não tenha nenhum talento para mostrar.No final Chris e a família vão pra um restaurante, o pai dele chega com o resultado do supletivo e a série acaba sem dizer se Chris passou ou não no supletivo.
Chris decide sair da escola e fazer o supletivo. Julius tenta resgatar uma dívida. Drew entra em um show de talentos e Tanya se forma na sexta série.
