    Omega participants Joe, Margot and Ira share personal journeys towards greater well-being. These particular stories reveal the power of loving and letting go. Each of the stories reveal how the letting go of a past relationship with a loved one has helped them to discover and to understand themselves on a deeper, more spiritual level. Each of their transformations resulted in a lesson that brought them a newfound understanding of how to manage and cope with other difficult situations and challenges in all facets of their lives.

A man traumatically leaves his soulmate in New York City to heed his higher calling to help others.

Samantha learns true self love and the fulfillment that comes from taking risks, once she discovers a diagnosis of throat cancer. Ysaye, rooted in her health studies and service, finds a much larger plan at work through the power of her voice. Susan, a New York actress and singer down on her luck finds the magic to manifest her stage dream. Be touched, moved and inspired as each opens their heart to compassion, love, and new beginnings.

    Gigi, Thom, Beth and Lieve, Omega Institute participants, share their spiritual journeys toward greater awareness and well-being.As a youth, Gigi became a seeker so as not to accept her illness as her fate. Thom heeded a dramatic wake-up call when he got a diagnosis of six months to live due to a sports injury that uncovered adrenal, liver, and kidney malfunction. Inspired to overcome these major imbalances, he has found success through yogic practice. Beth's recovery from a burst appendix during the birth of her son has been her unique call to centering practice. Lieve changed her life of outer success to embrace inner awareness through a challenging journey with chronic fatigue syndrome.We find ourselves moved and inspired by viewing each of these challenges as whole mind-body-spirit experiences of growth and healing, rather than dissociated physical body break-downs. Each of the participants has entered into a more meaningful and full life, by letting go of their attachment to the material world.With the abandonment of unnecessary material goods, and the quest for monetary reward, each of the participants became more connected to themselves, and more in tune with the pure essence of life and living, as well as the beauty of the world around them.

    Four Omega Institute participants have unique spiritual breakthroughs and share snapshots of their personal transformations towards greater love, awareness and service. Now a pioneer in spiritual psychology, Jackie was transformed through unexpected spiritual guidance at the dissolution of her marriage. Miriam, a New Jersey woman traveling in New Mexico and offering prayers of healing service for humanity has a direct realization that she is physically manifested light.Chris survived a dysfunctional family pattern of drug addiction through the love of his children. Newly awakened to the reality that all her needs would be met as she lives a life of participatory service, Shuli was able to film a sequel to her documentary of the women's peace movement in Israel on the West Bank in Gaza.   • S01E11 Overcoming Addiction

    Doug, a Canadian, lost focus and dropped out of college, partaking of a constant supply of drugs and alcohol. At a loss to provide value to anyone else, he journeyed long and hard to find his way to consciousness, love and the joy of living simply and honestly.Joanne found her way out of compulsive overeating and obesity through a three-fold method addressing spiritual, physical and emotional recovery. Practicing staying present and riding the raw feelings accompanying jealousy, judgment, hurt, etc., has helped her accept and love herself without turning to food to bury them.Brian was a troublemaker from early on. A gang member and drug runner, he exploited or victimized anything or anyone he could take advantage of – family, friends, strangers – to get what he needed or wanted. At a life or death turning point he chose to get more in touch with himself, to feel his life and to invite conscious spirituality back into it.

    Rondi, Christa, Linda, and Oriah, Omega Institute participants, share their spiritual journeys toward greater awareness and well-being. Rondi discovers talents and experiences she didn't know she was capable of while caring for her husband during his cancer. Christa finds herself spontaneously conversing with her friend who has passed on and hopes to convey trust in life after death to others.Linda gets an auditory premonition of a significant event and loving guidance from her deceased husband toward her spiritual growth. Through meditation Oriah connects with her friend in a coma, who then comes out of it the next day. Be moved and inspired as they open their hearts to compassion, love, and new beginnings.

    Three stories of very different people and how they became spiritually alive through three very different paths and experiences.Andrew Harvey learned of his father dying in India. When he returned back home, he tells of an ecstatic religious experience and how he brought that into the world.Christina Pratt, a shamanic healer, tells of her struggles of having a regular job and life. She describes her shift coming as a “crazy woman” contrarily leading her to a new path.Stephen Cope’s tale begins in graduate school where he stumbles onto his innate talent for meditation. After building a successful psychotherapy practice, he took a leap of faith and took a year off to enter into deep yogic meditation at the Kripalu Center.
