The dining room gets shiplap walls, and Cherie creates a microwave station in the kitchen by closing off a useless second door in a bedroom. Cherie modernizes the bathroom while preserving its funky retro floor tile, and saves a cast-iron tub by reglazing it. A wasted space is converted into a functional mudroom.
