The search for a home-cooked dish that will grace the shelves of Marks and Spencer and net its creator £20,000 focuses on home cooks from Yorkshire and the North East. One of the nation's favourite dishes is curry and one contestant puts their own spin on a classic curry recipe. There is also an unusual take on the classic Yorkshire pudding, but a young postmaster's twist on the traditional trifle fails to impress judge Tom Parker-Bowles.
