Goofy hat endlich die hohe Schule des Servierens erlernt und arbeitet jetzt in einem Restaurant. Doch der Job als Ober ist ihm viel zu stressig und so versucht er sich als Schauspieler. Er gewinnt sogar einen Oskar ? für die grandiose Darstellung eines gehetzten Kellners.
Eine kleine Geige stört Minnies Auftritt als Dirigentin. Das Streichinstrument hat nämlich keine Lust auf Brahms … Daisy hat von Donalds Jähzorn endgültig die Nase voll. Erst als er ihr verspricht, sich zu ändern, gibt sie ihm eine neue Chance. Zur Versöhnung gehen beide in ein schickes Restaurant. Max wants to get a car, but Goofy feels that he is not ready for one yet. A living car from one of the cartoons shown at the club arrives and Max, curious that it has no driver, gets in only to be taken hostage and driven around against his will.

Max vuole prendersi un'auto, ma Pippo crede che non sia ancora pronto. Quando arriva un'auto vivente da uno dei cartoni mostrati al club, Max la prende ma viene portato in giro contro la sua volontà.
Max quiere un coche, pero Goofy siente que aún no está listo para uno. Llega un coche viviente de uno de los dibujos animados que se proyectan en el club y Max, curioso al descubrir que no tiene conductor, se sube, pero lo toman como rehén y lo conducen contra su voluntad.
