Meet photographer Harley Weir and the other image makers shaping the world through a female gaze, presented by CHANEL and i-D. London-born Harley Weir began experimenting with analogue photography and film whilst studying Fine Art at Central St Martin’s College of Art and Design. Harley has developed a uniquely intimate style that’s attracted some of fashion’s biggest brands such as Calvin Klein, Proenza Schouler, Missoni and McQ, and her images are frequently featured on the pages of American, French and British Vogue, i-D, Self Service and Pop. Here we see Harley’s journey to capturing 5 different women from around the world on her project for The Fifth Sense, 5 Women, inspired by Chanel No. 5. We also meet the different women who are defining the image of today, including Inez van Lamsweerde, Chen Man, Juno Calypso, Ashley Armitage, Jen Davies, Arvida Bystrom and writer Reba Maybury.
