Documentary marking the 100th anniversary of the Easter Rising by going behind the scenes at the GPO, Ireland's busiest post office. Perhaps best known for serving as the Dublin headquarters of the uprising's leaders back in 1916, the historic building on O'Connel Street has been home to An Post since 1984, and currently staffed by 950 people responsible for everything from co-ordinating mail delivery, to keeping the facilities suitably tidy. The series begins with an introduction to cleaner Sue Gannon and patrolman Philip Freer, best friends who started working at the GPO on the same day back in 1997, and branch manager Shay Cullen, who hopes to make the GPO the leading office in the An Post league tables following a dismal performance two years ago.
