1914 Knox Model 46 496 CI Overhead-Valve Monster From the Nethercutt Collection

What was a "supercar" before the term even existed? In 1914, it was the Knox Model 46 "Little Six"—a massive, luxury-touring beast with an overhead-valve engine that cost more than a house! In this week's episode, Jay Leno welcomes back Cameron Richards, curator of the world-famous Nethercutt Collection, to show off one of only two surviving 1914 Knox "Little Six" automobiles in existence. Built in Springfield, Massachusetts, by the Knox Automobile Company, this rare piece of brass-era history packs a colossal 496-cubic-inch 6-cylinder engine producing over 500 lb-ft of torque.
