Today I will exploring a cave in northern Arizona more famously known as the "APACHE DEATH CAVES" a small series of caves with a very Gruesome backstory. I will be entering the cave and going as far in as I physically can. The Apache Death Caves tell the story of a group of Apaches that raided a Navajo camp in the late 1870s, they killed everyone, men, women and children....or so they thought. They soon discovered that there were 3 girls remaining, so they kidnapped them and took any goods they could. Once the Navajo got word of this raid they tracked down the apache and set fire at the mouth of the cave to try to smoke them out. One of the Apaches did manage to escape and the Navajo leaders asked if the 3 girls were still alive, and after not getting the response that they were hoping for, they continued to add more brush and wood to the fire and shooting more rounds into the cave.
