Month of Mario begins as I take you through the game that launched Mario into video game stardom! Has Super Mario Bros. for the NES aged well at all? Let's find out!
Continuing on with Month of Mario, we continue with Trial and Error in video game form. How does the true sequel to the original Super Mario Bros fare today? Watch and find out!
Now it's time for the game that everyone else got. If you ever needed a reason to not eat your vegetables as a kid, you'd probably used this game as an excuse. It's Super Mario Bros. 2 USA!
Considered one of the best Mario games of all time, Super Mario Bros. 3 takes everything that made the original good and multiply by the shitload. But over 20 years later, is the game still good? Watch and find out!
The time has come to end Month(s) of Mario. Released in 1991 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Super Mario World takes our hero through the delicious Dinosaur Land as he tries to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser once again, though this time, he has help in the form of a green dinosaur with a bottomless stomach.
The wait is finally over. After nearly one year after reviewing the original game, it's time to look at it's sequel. Is the game worth your time and money nearly 7 years later? Is it as good, if not better than the original? Watch and find out! All that said however, I apologize for taking so long to make this. I have my reasons, but I won't bore you with the details. All I can say is that I'm back, and there's videos to make.
After the first attempt was blocked due to copyright claims, here's myself once again trying to figure out just what the Hell the developers were thinking. Is Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing worth your time and money? The answer's no, but I think you should watch the review anyway.
Before Arkham City makes it way over here, why not take a look at the game that made Batman fun again? Released for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, Batman: Arkham Asylum let's you control the one and only Batman as he tries to put an end to whatever Joker has up his sleeve. Is the game worth your time and money, or is it something only fans of Batman can enjoy? Watch and find out!
Want a game that defines the term "Nintendo Hard"? Here you go. Month of Castlevania begins with the original Castlevania, the game that spawned a long-running franchise. Has the game aged well after over 25 years? Let's find out.
So, next up we have Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest, the only time we are actively attempting to resurrect the evil count just to beat the shit out of him again. The concept alone makes me laugh, but on a serious note, Simon is suffering from a curse, so we need to save him. Just how does Castlevania 2 play out? Let's find out.
The original style returns as you take control of Simon's ancestor, Trevor Belmont. Dracula is terrorizing Europe, and with the help of 3 companions, it's up to you to defeat the Prince of Darkness once again and rid Transylvania of the curse. Whatever it is. It's Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse for the NES.
Now it's time for Castlevania to get the 16-bit makeover. As such, does this game completely trump the original three titles in every category? Month of Castlevania continues on with Super Castlevania IV for the SNES!
The end of Month of Castlevania has arrived, so to finish it off, we're looking at the only Castlevania game released under Sega. It's colorful, it's noisy, it's Castlevania: Bloodlines for the Sega Genesis! Happy Halloween Everybody!
The latest Sonic the Hedgehog game is here! With recreated levels from the past, a team-up of paradoxical proportions, and no sign of any game-changing gimmicks, is Sonic Generations truly a great game? Let's find out.
The latest episode of the Sonic 4 saga is here! With the return of a trusted sidekick and an evil doppelganger, does Episode 2 contain all of the necessary ingredients to make a game worthy enough to be a sequel to Sonic The Hedgehog 3? Let's hope so.
Time for some Dragon Ball action; this is a review I've been meaning to do after finishing up Batman: Arkham Asylum, but I didn't have enough time to finish it up before moving on to other projects.
It's time for the last Metroid game to review, Ladies and Gentlemen, and it's my longest one yet (Metroid games like to do that with me). Okay, well, there's technically three other games to look at too, but the main attraction here is Metroid Prime 3. Retro Studios has brought the First Person Adventure to the Nintendo Wii, so with added motion controls, how does the final game in the trilogy hold out? Let's find out.
Month of Pokémon begins! It's time to look at the first ever Pokémon games I've ever played, and the reason I became a fan in the first place. Generation 1 introduces us to the basic formula of how a Pokémon game works, but does it still hold up today? Should you even waste your time? Let's see and find out.
Next up on Month of Pokémon is a title I always wanted to own during my Pokémon craze, but never got a chance to do so. Pokémon Stadium allowed players to let their favorite pocket monsters fight in full 3D, but over 12 years after its release, is Pokémon Stadium for the Nintendo 64 still worth playing?
If you grew up with Pokémon in the late 90s and early 2000s, you most likely delved into this as well. What was probably my most expensive hobby before Yu-Gi-Oh entered the scene, the Pokémon Trading Card Game challenged players to build decks and compete to be the very best. Of course, I never did any of that, I just wanted the pretty cards. This video is done a bit differently than the rest, as it's more of a reminiscence of the cards themselves, with three guys talking about their experiences with the game itself. I begin to describe the actual card game and how it works at around the 12:07 mark. With that said, see you guys next week with Pokémon Snap for the Nintendo 64
It's time for another Pokémon entry for the Nintendo 64. Pokémon Snap lets you take control as Todd Snap as you coast your way through over 7 levels, taking pictures of every Pokémon you can see. There's no RPG or battling here, folks, but is the game still fun?
The finale of Month of Pokémon has finally arrived, and it's my longest review yet. Didn't Black and White 2 come out today as well? How accidentally appropriate. Anyway, it's time to look at the next Generation of Pokémon games after Red, Blue, and Yellow; Gold, Silver, and Crystal. With Ted and Ryan from Brain Scratch Commentaries by my side, let's take a look at the Pokémon games I couldn't wait to get my hands on nearly 12 years ago.
It's been over a year since it's initial release, but that's not gonna stop me from reviewing it anyway. I think I made it clear that I thoroughly enjoyed Batman: Arkham Asylum, and I certainly wasn't alone with that feeling, but with the sequel claiming to be bigger and better than it's predecessor, does Arkham City truly capture the Batman experience in a way that the previous game did not? Let's watch and find out as I review the game on the Xbox 360.
Oh boy, it's time for more Sonic. Back in November of 2008, I originally did a few quick Sonic reviews showcasing all of Sonic's 3D titles. I ended up deleting those videos because I always wanted to give the games full-out reviews and my opinions since then have changed dramatically. It's now time to make those full reviews. So, Sonic Adventure. Sonic's first 3D game. Released for the Sega Dreamcast over 14 years ago, does the game still hold up today? That's what we're going to find out today.
Hot damn, I can't help myself with these Sonic reviews. So many things to talk about, and here I thought this review would be shorter than the Adventure 1 video! 2001 marked the 10 year Anniversary of Sonic The Hedgehog, and to celebrate, Sega released Sonic Adventure 2. Has this game aged gracefully with time? What about the story? Only one way to find out! It's time to look at one of the most discussed Sonic games of all time.
With the Adventure series done and out of the way, it's time to review Sonic's first multiplatform title in the series, Sonic Heroes. We're looking at the Gamecube version for this video, Ladies and Gentlemen, so let's see how well this game has stood against the test of time.
Didn't YOU ever wonder how a Sonic game would handle with guns? You didn't? Well, somebody out there did, because this exists. Released in 2005, Shadow The Hedgehog focuses solely on our unfortunately amnesiac black hedgehog that makes it his goal to find the Chaos Emeralds and discover the truth about his past. Darker. Edgier. Ridiculous. It's Shadow The Hedgehog.
This is it, folks. The end of the Sonic Marathon has arrived, and yeowzas, it's the longest review of them all! Seriously, I don't think I'll ever make a review as long as this one ever again, but a lot needs to be said about this particular game. I've visited this game many times before. I wasn't exactly satisfied with the first review I made years ago. Since then, I've done a commentary, and I even did a full Let's Play of the game. Thoughts and perspectives have changed. But what exactly? Is this truly the worst of the worst? Are there any bright spots in this infamous title? Join me as I end the Sonic Marathon with SONIC THE HEDGEHOG (2006) for the Xbox 360.
Lots of you asked, so here we go. The time to start reviewing some Zelda games has finally come, and we're starting with the first game in the series; it's the Zelda Marathon, folks. This particular game is well over 25 years old, but it is responsible for setting quite the benchmark during the NES days. Does that necessarily mean it's still a good game today? That's what we're gonna find out today.
I've dreaded this day for sometime now. I'm well familiar with this game, but it wasn't until this review where I attempted to fully complete it. It's time to review the direct sequel to the first Legend of Zelda title, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. Is it really as hard as people say it is? Does it deserve it's status as the black sheep in the franchise? Only one way to find out, so let's watch and see.
Time to journey back to the Super Nintendo with the next game in the Zelda Marathon. A Link to the Past, similar to games like Super Mario World, introduced more than just a graphical update. It's considered to be one of the best Zelda games in the franchise, and whether or not that still holds up today is what we're going to find out. Time hasn't been too kind to Zelda 1 or Zelda 2, but will things look up from here on?
I stated at the beginning of the Marathon that I wouldn't tackle any handheld games in the series for now, but a lot of you wanted me to look at Link's Awakening before heading towards Ocarina of Time. Well, here you go. It's Link's first adventure on the Game Boy! Things are a bit different this time around, there's no Hyrule! No Zelda! What's going on here? Let's find out!
In 1998, The Legend of Zelda saw its 3D debut with Ocarina of Time, one of the most anticipated games of all time. It's no spoiler that Ocarina of Time is considered to be one of the greatest games ever made, but that won't stop me from picking it apart anyway. It's been nearly 15 years since it's release, and with a 3D re-release recently sold in 2011, why not see how well it's aged?
What's considered to be the darkest game in the franchise will be the focus of today's review. It's time to end the Zelda Marathon with The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask for the Nintendo 64. How does the direct sequel to Ocarina of Time stack up against its predecessor? Why the time-limit to save the world? How the Hell did this get away with an "E" Rating?
Tim needs to rescue the Princess. He needs to do this because he made a mistake. ...Okay, bye. I'm gonna be spending some time looking at some Indie games, so I decided to tackle one of the most well-known, Braid. What kind of game are we dealing with here, underneath that philosophical layer of...stuff?
I didn't see many likes, but I did see a lot of repetition, and Super Meat Boy was among the most requested for the next Indie review. This love letter to the early days of gaming will make you grow hair on your knuckles, but does that make it a good game overall? That's what we're gonna find out now. Played on Xbox Live Arcade.
An evil doctor is kidnapping and experimenting on Mimiga; the inhabitants of Mimiga village. You take control of a boy. You're not sure why he's there, but he is, and you have a day to save. But what is the deal with this cave system? What is the doctor planning on doing? How does the boy connect with it all? It's mysterious, and it's short. It's Cave Story, by Studio Pixel.
Once, there was a huge Calamity. Lots of people died. There exists a safe haven known as the Bastion. As the Kid, it's your job to rebuild it and look for any survivors. But there's more to it than that...I believe there is anyway.
Dust wakes up with no memory of himself, or his past. Suddenly a magical sword appears outta nowhere along with a small flying animal companion and yadda yadda yadda, save the world. It's Dust: An Elysian Tail for Xbox Live/PC! Should you bother with this one? Well, we're gonna find out now.
To finish up this Indie Showcase (for the sake of giving this series of reviews a name), I decided to end it on one of the most popular Indie titles of all time, Minecraft. Even if you've never played it before, you most likely heard about it, and I've been hearing about for quite a long time now. So, what can you expect in the world of Minecraft? What is it that made it achieve the positive status it relishes in today? Well, hopefully, we can find out here.
Many of you asked, and now I feel it's time. The next Marathon is all about the Blue Bomber, Mega Man. For over 25 Years, this beloved icon has seen many, many, MANY releases and many different spin-offs. For this series of videos, we're sticking to the classic games and seeing how well they hold up today. Ready?
The game you've at least heard of a million times before is now getting the review spotlight. Mega Man may have not been financial hit, but that didn't stop the developers from wanting to make a sequel to it anyway. Did the extra work and dedication pay off? Let's find in Mega Man 2 for the NES!
Mega Man 2 impressed and entertained a lot of people, so how does the sequel hold up next to it? Is it as good, if not better than the previous game, or does it fall short? After that, we focus our attention on Mega Man: The Wily Wars, the Sega Genesis remake of the first three titles in the series.
With so many sequels being released on a single console, does Mega Man 4 and 5 manage to sustain the magic that made the previous two games the smash hits they were? What perils await the Blue Bomber now that the likes of Dr. Wily are nowhere to be seen? The NES journey continues with Mega Man 4 and 5!
The last of the NES Mega Man titles saw a release very late into the system's life cycle. The dreaded Mr. X has taken control of the world's best Robot Masters, and it's up to Mega Man to stop him. We've all heard it before, but is it still a good game despite it's late release? It's Mega Man 6 for the NES!
Four years after the debut of the Super Nintendo, Classic Mega Man finally made his true 16-bit debut (not counting Wily Wars, of course). Still, it's the seventh entry in the series, so is this game playing the same old song, or does it do just enough to bring in a new level of fun? Let's find out with Mega Man 7, for the SNES!
Mega Man didn't stay on the Super Nintendo for very long. In fact, the next game in the series is for both the Sony Playstation and the Sega Saturn. For this review, we'll be looking at both versions. Celebrating Mega Man's 10th Anniversary, does the eighth installment in the franchise break new ground, or is it just a prettier game we've all played before?
What's considered to be Mega Man 8.5, Mega Man & Bass was initially a Japan-only SNES game released in 1998, with a international release not seeing the light of day until the Game Boy Advance Port in 2003. Despite going back a generation, is the game still something to consider trying out?
The Mega Man Marathon has come to an end, and the last two games take the Blue Bomber back to his 8-bit roots. It's also been 10 years since the original release of Mega Man & Bass, so has Mega Man lost that classic luster, or is he still packing some fun and entertainment?
It's the 50th Johnny Vs. Review, and good God, what have I gotten myself into? It's Halloween, and as such we're looking at two games that are filled to the brim with demons, monstrosities, and all-around not-goodness. It's Ghosts 'N Goblins for the NES, and Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts for the SNES.
Here it is, the review of the latest game in the Sonic franchise. Sonic Lost World takes the Hedgehog through over 7 different worlds, battles against the Deadly Six, and also takes things back to a simpler time in terms of high-speed platforming. The boost formula is gone. The Wisps are back. However, does this change end up working out in the end, or was it a bad idea to shake things up at this point?
This past April, a sequel to my favorite Zelda game was announced and I couldn't have been more excited. However, does Zelda's next adventure on the Nintendo 3DS live up to it's predecessor on the SNES? Does it do much different than A Link to the Past to begin with? From my 3DS to your screen, it's the review of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.
There's just something about Christmas that doesn't sit well with Gotham City. If it's not some deformed human being trying to eliminate all of the first born children in Gotham, it's some shrewd businessman trying to suck up all of the city's electrical power. And then there's the Black Mask, who has placed a $50 Million Dollar Bounty on the Dark Knight, and the dude just started his career as the Batman. This Holiday is cursed. But is the game any good? We're going to find out now, plus we're also gonna look at the handheld tie-in; Arkham Origins: Blackgate for the Nintendo 3DS.
It's time for a short return to the Castlevania franchise. In 1993, the next big title in the Castlevania line-up saw release exclusively in Japan. It wouldn't be until 2007 when American audiences could finally play it . How does Rondo of Blood stack up against the likes of such classics as Super Castlevania IV? Was the wait worth it at all?
In 1997, the Castlevania franchise decided to try the whole Simon's Quest approach again, and the end result is Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (also known as Nocturne in the Moonlight overseas). Richter Belmont has disappeared, causing a slumbering Alucard to awaken and explore the newly resurrected Castlevania to find out what happened to the vanished Belmont. Can he manage to locate Richter, and destroy the Castle before things get out of hand?
Every gamer had a console they grew up with, and when I wasn't playing Final Fantasy VI on my SNES, I was trying something new out on the newly-released Playstation 1. From 1996 until 2000, there was no other console or handheld I spent the same amount of time on; the PS1 had everything I needed, and didn't make me hate the fact that I missed out on the Nintendo 64 or Sega Saturn when they were all the rage.
The King of PS1 Platformers has finally arrived on this channel, so I'm gonna be looking at every Crash Bandicoot game released on the Playstation 1, including the non-platforming games like Crash Team Racing and Crash Bash. There'll be a time and place for the later games, but let's just focus on his origins for now.
With Crash Bandicoot's success, Naughty Dog decided to really crank up the effort and detail with the 1997 sequel, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back. Surprisingly, it's the least financially successful in the original trilogy, but is the game itself something numbers can't speak for?
Time Traveling isn't always so bad, and Crash Bandicoot: WARPED is here to show us why. The Bandicoot was on fire after the success of the second game, so can Naughty Dog go for the proverbial Turkey and make a third game that's good?
Fasten your seat belts for Naughty Dog's last game in the Crash Bandicoot franchise. It's Crash Team Racing for the Playstation 1! Afterwards, we're going to look at the very last Crash game on the system itself, Crash Bash, a party game developed by Eurocom Entertainment Software.
No, this isn't a belated Easter review, but there's still plenty of eggs to go around. Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg is another one of Sonic Team's projects that contains no blue hedgehog to play as. Instead, we control a boy named Billy who must prove his courage by smacking things with giant eggs. So, is this game any good?
I wasn't surprised to see this dominate the voting poll, but that's the power of demand folks. Dragon Ball Z Budokai was a somewhat decent attempt to make a good Dragon Ball fighting game, but it fell short in a lot of places. Do the sequels do any better? Power-up to maximum level and see what the second and third installment change for better or worse.
Carlos Calaca had kidnapped El Presidente's Daughter, and the only one who can rescue her is Juan Aguacate, a man who inherits the powers of a special mask that gives him the power of the Luchador. A modern day Metroidvania Beat 'em up, how does Guacamelee hold out as an Indie title from Drinkbox Studios?
Let the speed mend Sonic's reputation after the critically panned Sonic '06. The Hedgehog's debut on the Nintendo Wii puts him on the fast track, but is the result another statistic in the dark ages, or a ray of hope that got Sonic off of his ass? Make believes reborn, it's Sonic and the Secret Rings.
"The poll has spoken, and Super Mario RPG has claimed victory. It's Mario's first role-playing adventure, ever, and it involves just a little more than a kidnapped Princess. A fiend from another world named Smithy has begun his conquest to take over Mario's world, and we're gonna need some Star Power if we're gonna take this dude head on. With that aside, is the game any good? Even today?
I'm in the mood for some more Mario, but before we head into the realm of 3D, there was another platformer released for the Super Nintendo that starred everyone's favorite sacrifice, Yoshi. It's the green dinosaur's time to shine as the world's most dangerous baby-sitter.
Oh Mario, always the one to revolutionize the genre. But this is no longer 1996, and with a surplus of 3D platforming games out there nowadays; does Super Mario 64 still deliver on the goods? Let's grab that awkward controller and see!
I haven't played this one in over a decade. Am I coming back to something that's truly a treasure? Or is there a reason for the spacious time gap? Super Mario Sunshine is the 2002 sequel to revolutionary Super Mario 64. No pressure or anything, but does Sunshine offer something that the N64 classic could not besides better graphics? Let's pop this in and enjoy the summer breeze.
The next adventure takes our hero to the star-filled void, through countless planetoids, battle stations, and other elements that somehow drifted out of orbit. It's Mario's debut on the Nintendo Wii, but does it bring that system selling quality?
Looks like Nintendo really enjoyed the Space motif last time, so they're doing it again. How does this game manage to make a name for itself after the successful predecessor? You'd be surprised. Mario is orbiting the Nintendo Wii one last time with Super Mario Galaxy 2!
This is what happens when you take everything from a Mario game and place it inside a Mario game. It's Super Mario 3D Land for the Nintendo 3DS!
We're heading back to the Nintendo Wii U for the latest Mario game in the franchise! Four players can get in on the action this time, and the 3D Land foundation has been brought back, but does it still capture the magic of it's predecessors?
Omega Force requested to make Link's HYAHHs an art-form, with the result being Hyrule Warriors for the Nintendo Wii U. Of course, there's more to offer than that, but can this game find a market besides the Dynasty Warrior and Zelda demographic?
Bayonetta is back with a new haircut and new toys, but is the new adventure worthy of it's predecessor? Let's hit the Climax with Bayonetta 2 for the Nintendo Wii U!
Sonic The Hedgehog has been placed into the hands of developers other than Sonic Team and Dimps, complete with redesigns. Is this a sign of good things to come, or do we have another statistic in the era of Modern Sonic?
Nintendo All-Stars have gathered to beat the crap out of each other in one of Nintendo's most successful franchises ever. I'm gonna spend some time reaching into my past to explain why I love this series so much, and why you should play it if you already haven't."
Indie studio Galaxytrail Games went and made their own take on a 2D Sonic game, among other call backs. That's enough to garner my attention, but is it just a good game period?
Edmund McMillen along with Nicalis have remade the 2011 classic for the PC, PS4, and Vita. Last year, I promised to look at this once it was release, since I wasn't very fond of the original game. So what's my final verdict on The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth?
The Donator's Marathon has officially begun; why else would I look at something like Cory in the House? It's a licensed game, but is there any sort of merit to this tie-in to the show?
This Donator's Marathon brings strange things to this channel. Never did I ever expect to review, let alone look at, anything involving the Olsen Twins. Is this a fun time for all, anyway?
Nickelodeon's famous little spongeboy has starred in many video games, but I guess you can consider this the first big one, released in 2003 for the PS2, Gamecube, and Xbox. Robots are on the loose all over town, and because it's Bikini Bottom, it's up to Spongebob, Patrick, and Sandy to save the day.
If we were to use a Psycho-Portal on Tim Schafer's head, we would find Psychonauts. Raz wants to become a psychic soldier, and thanks to some diabolical mastermind needing brains for nefarious purposes, he's gonna get his chance to show off what he can do.
After just one game, Capcom decided to take the Battle Network series in another direction for its console debut. A familiar direction, but now with some added Battle Network flavor. Is the end product a good meal, or unhealthy junk?
Ecco was a dolphin. A time-traveling dolphin. Aliens stole his family. That's too bad.
I like Sonic. Bubsy wanted to be Sonic. Bubsy ain't Sonic. A fan donated the first game to me, so I'm using that as an excuse to look at the entire series, from the first game to 3D on the Playstation.
Looks like I ran into a series of RPGs without realizing it. X-Men Legends has you take control of your favorite ragtag bunch of mutants to save humanity from the clutches of assholes and Magneto.
Yeah, this turned out to be a really short one, and about half of it is solely on how awesome you guys are for making this Marathon possible. One year later, and a sequel was already pushed out. Is it any better than Legends 1?
You guys ready for another Indie Showcase? We're starting things off with Journey, a Playstation 3/Vita/4 Exclusive that really wants you to get absorbed into the world it contains. Is that worth $15, though?
Scott Cawthon created some of the most discussed Indie games in the past year. There's no way I could do another Indie Showcase without diving into Five Nights at Freddy's. Plus, a lot of you asked for it, so I couldn't say no.
Good lord, a lot of you made your voice clear during that last Strawpoll, so while I get to work on those results, here's a quick look at an Early Access title on Steam titled SpeedRunners.
Former Wayforward Employees created their own team and produced a 2D throwback to the NES days as their first game. Steel Thy Shovel, it's Shovel Knight.
Lab Zero Games have decided to take a stab at the fighting genre with the hard-hitting, name-taking, voluptuous Skullgirls. Did this Indie studio score the Gold, or are you better off with something else?
I'm back from Momocon 2015 with one of the most requested Indie titles for this showcase. Terraria has you dig, craft, fight, die, and dig like no other. It may seem a bit familiar to some, but is it different enough to catch my full attention?
In today's review, I decide to let the limbs fly as I play Octodad: Dadliest Catch, developed by Young Horses, Inc.
In today's episode, I spend some time on Axiom Verge, a title heavily inspired by Metroid. Trace was just working on his experiment when he was suddenly knocked out by an explosion that left him stranded in a strange new world. Soon, he finds himself on a mission to stop a dreaded force from committing heinous acts. Kinda late for that, though, isn't it? Look at this place.
In today's episode, I look at an original IP from Wayforward Technologies, Shantae! I'm covering the cult-classic Game Boy Color title, Risky's Revenge, and finally Pirate's Curse. Half-genie, half-human Shantae makes it her job to defend Scuttle Town from bad news. Said bad news usually comes from Risky Boots, a ruthless pirate. Armed with belly-dancing power, is Shantae a series worth investing in?
In today's episode, I'm searching for any discrepancies within Papers, Please. An Indie game developed by Lucas Pope, a former developer of Naughty Dog. You've been selected for Immigration Watch. You have a work desk. You know the rules. Check those passports. Glory to Arstotzka!
In today's episode, I attempt to understand what Hotline Miami wants to show me without taking any sort of illegal substances. The Hotline Miami series doesn't ask for much. Just kill things. How does it stack up an Indie title, though?
In today's episode, I follow-up on the Five Nights at Freddy's series with the recently released fourth entry. FNAF 4 is the supposedly final chapter of the series. I don't buy that, but either way, Scott Cawthon wants to make sure he scares your pants off. So, does he manage to bring the terror this time?
In today's episode, I head into AVGN Adventures, a game starring everyone's favorite foul-mouthed Nerd, the Angry Video Game Nerd. James Rolfe is a major inspiration to this channel, and for my 100th Johnny Vs review, it's only appropriate that I focus that video on the game made in honor of his angry persona. However, is this game something that everyone can get into?
Welcome to a brand new series for this channel: Spotlight! Can I recommend a game, newly released or in development, solely off first impressions? Is it Good? Bad? Who knows! Let's give it a shot! For my first video in this series, I'm looking at iZBOT, an upcoming Indie title developed by Daniel Spruce!
In today's episode, I'm painting the city all kinds of majestic colors with Nintendo's newest IP, Splatoon for the Nintendo Wii U!
Today on SPOTLIGHT! I shift into warp drive as I experience a new shoot'em up, Solar Shifter EX on Steam. Let's see how this one turns out.
Today on SPOTLIGHT! It's good to flex your brain every once in a while, and I'm exercising my noggin with Almightree: The Last Dreamer. It's been available for a bit on mobile devices, but it was just released on Steam, and that's all I need.
In today's episode, Batman enters the scene for the fourth time with the Grand Finale of the Arkham series. Rocksteady Studios has returned with Batman: Arkham Knight, only available on PS4, Xbox One and PC (sort of)!
For the record, this is a sponsored video for Introversion Software. In today's episode, I think I get to experience what it's really like to be a full-fledged Prison Architect with...Prison Architect! Build cells, hire staff, and micromanage like you wouldn't believe with Introversion Software's latest title.
Of course I'm gonna review this game when it comes out in 20 years, but how about a look of things to come with a special sneak peek? Today on SPOTLIGHT, I'm heading into the Special Demo Version of Mighty No. 9!
In today's episode, I join in the celebration of Super Mario Bros. 30th Anniversary with a review of Super Mario Maker! Build. Create. Destroy Souls. It's all here.
