Filmmaking in 1970s Singapore

A well-made documentary (episode 2 of 4) that provides a good overview of the state of local film production in 1970s Singapore, after the demise of the studio system of filmmaking in the 1940s to '60s by which the Shaw Brothers and Cathay Organisation thrived. It includes interviews with personalities active in the film industry then - Herbert Lim (son of Lim Chong Pang), Tony Yeow, Lim Meng Chew 林明洲 and Sunny Lim. There are numerous well-placed excerpts from what are now cult movies produced by the independent film companies of the time, eg. 'They Call Her Cleopatra Wong', 'Dynamite Johnson', 'Ring of Fury' and 'Two Sides of the Bridge'.
