A week into the summer school and Mr Drew believes he has a clear sense of where each family's problems lie. Now he begins tackling them head on. He starts with ten-year-old Dominic and is confronted with some shocking video evidence of how the boy speaks to his mum. The school's healthy snacks policy results in a rebellion by some of the boys and some rather disgruntled parents. And, as the boys head out for a day at the seaside, the battle of wills between 11-year-old Clark and Mr Drew continues. 'Technically, the headteacher is now my worst enemy,' says Clark.

The boys must play a football match against a local team where they're not allowed to swear or foul. Can they rise to the challenge or will the beautiful game turn ugly? Mr Drew decides to tackle the ongoing lack of respect with an ambitious high-risk strategy: he's organised a match against a local football team. Any bad language or foul play will result in an immediate red card. In the build-up PE teacher Mr Volante is determined to whip the boys into shape. But in the training sessions, arguments, displays of petulance and foul language prevail. An emergency family sports day is called in the hope that it will teach the boys some much needed team spirit.
