An ancient God called Ranga awakens on an isolated island in the South Pacific where it has been slumbering forgotten by mankind. Three sisters living in Tokyo - Minami, Ushio and Yuuhi Shimabara discover they have inherited this Island Kingdom, along with the huge God. When Ranga shows up in Tokyo, it soon becomes a source of wonder and conflict for the three sisters that control Ranga, the people who want to destroy it, and ones who want to use it.
La petite vie tranquille des soeurs Shimabara, Ushio, Minami et Yuhi, est bouleversée par l'arrivée d'un gigantesque mecha, Neoranga (ou s'agit-il d'un dieu?). Un secret caché au sein d'une petite Ile du pacifique, un frère disparu, une société secrète et de superbes génériques.
Ushio Shimabara, una studentessa delle superiori, vive a Tokyo con la sua impegnatissima sorella maggiore Minami e la piccola Yuuki. Le tre, essendo sole però non se la passano bene economicamente. Ma quando le cose stanno andando per il peggio, scoprono di avere una eredità dimenticata, lasciata loro dal fratello maggiore, scomparso anni prima in Indonesia. Il ragazzo infatti aveva sposato l'erede al trono dell'isola di Barou, divenendone quindi re, ma era morto mesi dopo in mare. L'eredità consiste in "Ranga", un colossale dio-robot di quell'isola, che decide a chi appartenere, facendo divenire quindi il proprio possessore, re di Barou. E sono proprio le ragazze a essere scelte da Ranga, che viene controllato dai loro pensieri, anche per le cose più semplici, come fare la spesa o buttare la spazzatura... Ma Ranga è vivo ed ha anche una volontà propria. Riuscirà Ushio a capire quali siano le vere intenzioni di Ranga, dato che una creatura così enorme potrebbe distruggere Tokyo in poco tempo?
Al otro lado del océano, desde el pequeño reino de Barou, algo ha despertado al Dios Neo Ranga de su letargo y ahora, se dirige hacia Tokio y nada le detendrá en su búsqueda de las tres hermanas Shimabara: Miami, Yuuhi y Ushio, que están misteriosamente ligadas a él. Von einem Brief ihres Bruders geleitet, gelangen die drei Schwestern Minami, Ushio und Yuhi Shimabara nach Barrow Island, einem Südseeparadies. Dort treffen sie Neoranga, den Gott, den die Inselbewohner als Thronnachfolger anbeten. Neoranga ist aus unbekanntem Metall und Mineralien erschaffen und kann via Telepathie kommunizieren. Zur rechten Zeit kommt Neoranga mit den drei Schwestern nach Japan, um seine Mission als göttlicher Beschützer der drei Schwestern zu erfüllen. In Neoranga findet sich eine aufregende Geschichte, zusammen mit viel spannender Action.
