The book is The Butterfly Ball and Grasshoppers' Feast by Alan Aldridge and William Plomer, a children's story about woodland creatures going to a ball. The question is being asked of the Upham Road Dancers, a group of mentally handicapped young people preparing their own unique version of the story. Follow their progress through work-shops and rehearsals as they develop their characters in a quite remarkable way and then... the day of the ball arrives.
