철학과의 폐지로 임용의 기회를 잃은 은형은 과음으로 외박까지 하고, 은형이 걱정된 연자는 집에 찾아가려 하지만 방문을 자제해달라던 지선의 말을 떠올려 발걸음을 멈춘다. 한편, 은애는 거리에서 쓰러지려는 영화를 우연히 돕게 된다.
Devastated by the department closure, Eun-hyeong wanders around after drinking heavily. Yeon-ja worries about him, but refrains from visiting after remembering Ji-seon's request for privacy. Meanwhile, Eun-ae happens to help Yeong-hwa, who is about to faint on the street, and bonds with her by installing her Lucky Joy program on Yeong-hwa's phone. Later, Eun-ae sneaks into Kangsu Construction's office to find legal evidence to reclaim Joy and desperately searches for the acquisition contract.
