遠い未来。都市部で高密度に発展した科学技術に取り残された郊外の山村「鏡見村」。「良い子にしていないと、そっくりさんがやって くる」。古い言い伝えの残るこの村に住む中学生、日暮 紅（ひぐれ あかね）は、1年ぶりに退院した姉 日暮 翠（ひぐれ すい）との再会を 心待ちにしていた。しかし、姉の退院から間もなく、紅のもとに1本の電話がかかってくる。 「その家にいるのは、お姉ちゃんじゃない」
Higure Akane, a middle school student living in this village where an old legend still remains, was looking forward to being reunited with her older sister Higure Sui, who has been released from the hospital after a year. However, shortly after her sister's release from the hospital, Akane receives a phone call.
