Egill Helgason and Gunnar Tómas Kristófersson examine footage related to children. We see children in schools, on summer vacation, in the countryside and at play and sports. Some of the footage is black and white and some in color, and many of the images have been taken by pioneers in Icelandic filmmaking. The role of the Icelandic Film Museum is also examined.
