The Case of the Jilted Jockey

Johnny Starr verdient sich seinen Lebensunterhalt als kleiner Gelegenheitsgangster. Johnny, der ein Verhältnis mit Gloria, der Frau eines Jockeys, hat, verspricht ihr eines Tages, mit ihr durchzubrennen. Allerdings stellt er eine Forderung: Gloria muss ihren Mann Tic dazu bringen, sein Pferd beim nächsten Rennen etwas zurückzuhalten. Doch Tic ahnt, was da vor sich geht. Jockey Tic Barton is in a mess of trouble.
