The cartons could be painted or covered with paper, windows drawn in with people looking out and a track made of corrugated cardboard. The railway station could be a large box from the supermarket; the train carriages could be joined using pipe cleaner. Fun for a rainy day, especially if older brothers or sisters help set it up. Make a Gingerbread Man: You could make some gingerbread men, using a simple biscuit recipe and a cookie cutter.
