    In the time before the light and life came to the land, the world was dark and unformed. Raven, who lived during this time of creation, was bored and complained constantly to his brother Eagle, who tried his best to ignore him.

    The world is now filled with life: birds clamor merrily and fish swim and jump in the waters. Raven and Eagle walk among the new animals, instructing them on how they should behave but the animals ignore them or make rude gestures.

    Gwai is having a hard time keeping up with the others when it comes to gathering and hunting food. His wife is afraid that they will end up with less than everybody else, which would be an embarrassment.

    Quos learns about being patient when it comes to love.

    Eagle recalls his flight around the world at the Great Spirit's behest.

    Wina explains how good comes to men who are good to others.

    Raven persuades Coyote that he can fly.

    The critters complain to the Great Spirit about getting sick.

  • S01E11 Raven and the Great Flood

    Tipped off by a mouse, the children try to warn their parents that a flood is imminent, but no one believes them.

  • S01E12 The Gathering

    The people rebuild their flood-ravaged village, but may not finish before winter. Frog suggests that they ask the forest animals for help, but they're reluctant to do so.

  • S01E13 The Rough Face Girl

    Dza runs away after the boys tease her about her looks. She meets Frog, who tells her a story about a plain-looking girl who became the Great Spirit's wife.
