あなた、ニセモノの家族に負けてるかも。9人の他人が集まって、楽しい家族ができました。たった一人の肉親を失ったばかりの天涯孤独なOLがヒロイン。人一倍寂しがり屋の彼女に、ふとしたきっかけから祖父母が、両親が、そして兄弟姉妹や姪までもが出来て、上は99歳のおじいちゃんから下は5歳の女の子までの4世代9人の大家族が成立してゆく。彼らに血のつながりはない。それぞれが血縁のある家族を別に持つ、ワケありの「ニセ家族」。それぞれが事情を抱える中で、家族をめぐる悲喜劇、男女の愛憎劇、対人関係のドドタバタ劇がこれでもかとばかりに展開してゆく。
