Makoto and Kotonoha go on their first date together, and Makoto's heart and mind are in a whirlwind of excitement and bewilderment, but it doesn't go as he had imagined it to go. La relation de Kotonoha et Makoto se déroule plutôt bien, même si le garçon est un peu inexpérimenté et a tendance à s'occuper de lui et pas assez de sa copine. Sekai le sermonne et lui offre des places de cinéma, lui expliquant que si tout fonctionne, il pourra espérer embrasser sa dulcinée. Dès lors, Makoto ne pense plus qu'à cela.
Seulement, la jeune fille est extrêmement réservée et, contrairement à ce que raconte Saionji, elle n'espère pas qu'il fasse le premier pas...
言葉と付き合う事になった誠は、言葉を初めてデートに誘うが、言葉は暴走気味の誠に戸惑い気味…。翌日、デートの事を聞いた世界は誠の暴走っぷりにあきれるが、二人のために持っていた映画のチケットを渡す。
Makoto lee una "guía de amor" mientras espera a Kotonoha para su primera cita. Cuando ellos parten, Makoto intenta besar a Kotonoha pero la puerta del metro los bloquea. Makoto le dice a Sekai cómo le fue en el día y lo llama un idiota por lo que él hizo. Ella da a Makoto dos boletos de cine, para que él invite a Kotonoha en su siguiente cita. Makoto se sobrepasa nuevamente y la relación entre Kotonoha empieza a desmoronarse. Sekai le dice entonces a Kotonoha que él está yendo muy rápido y ella debe intentar conocerlo bien. El episodio culmina con un beso entre Makoto y Kotonoha con la vigilancia de Sekai.
