Simone en de Roofstaat

In de nieuwe vierdelige documentaireserie Simone en de Roofstaat reist journalist en NOS-presentator Simone Weimans naar vier voormalige kolonies van Nederland om zich te verdiepen in de vaak bloedige geschiedenis overzee. Via bijzondere ontmoetingen onderzoekt en hoort ze hoe dat verleden ook nu nog doorwerkt op deze plekken. Het programma is geïnspireerd op het boek Roofstaat: wat iedere Nederlander moet weten van Ewald Vanvugt.
