In this episode, Tony Angelo and his friend Patrick finish some work on a decade old project 1968 Dodge Dart street machine. Powered by a pretty wild 5.9 Magnum with aftermarket heads, big cam and a tunnel Ram, this this is a proper 70's vibed street machine! Hear the first fire up without an exhaust, then watch as they build an exhaust to make the car more "streetable."
I went and scooped up a 1999 Porsche 911 C2 that had been sitting in a Brooklyn Parking garage for 2 years for $5000 bucks! I spent the better part of a week completely reviving this 996 and turning it into a killer street ride that works as good as factory!
My 1972 Hemi 'Cuda Drift car has been sitting for 4 years after being in the 2016 SEMA show. Why has it been sitting? What dirty secrets lie beneath this flashy exterior? What will the future hold for the Fishtail 'Cuda?!
My cheap 996 Porsche 911 gets a much needed complete exhaust system upgrade! We’ve installed the new Hooker headers and cat-back and it sounds wicked!
Pat's long-term '68 Dart gets moving after sitting for a decade! We did a ton of work to get to this spot and she fought us most of the way. We did a hydro clutch conversion 4 or 5 times before getting it right and off she goes!
I scooped up a long abandoned 240SX with an SR20DET swap from an old buddy for a cool grand! The goal is to get this thing fired up for the first time since the Iphone 1 came out! Watch as we dig through layers and layers of trash, animal waste and a ton of nature's metal candy:RUST!
I found myself with time to kill in central Florida, and since I'm not into amusement parks, wrestling alligators or bath salts, I decided to hit up my dude @tavarish and check out his shop. There's a ton of wild exotics, that's his whole thing. Some are literally cut into pieces and others are really beautifully fixed up. Freddy let me get behind the wheel of his super rare V12, 6 speed 2009 Aston Martin DBS and we had a ball. It might be the best sounding street car of all time!
I bought a "ready to drift" BMW 328 sight unseen, because I have been DYING to get back on track! Does this thing really work? Did I get totally hosed? Did I get kind of hosed on this thing? Are BMW's the new 240s, now that 240s are expensive?!! Maybe!
After driving @tavarish Insane Aston Martin DBS, I had to build something with that incredible V12 Aston sound! I got a random text from Mike Napp, the Owner of Englishtown Raceway Park looking to unload a 2001 Aston 5.9 liter V12, and I was more than stoked to grab it from him! I just don't know what to put it in, so let me know your thoughts below! Fox Body Mustang? 69 Camaro? Lincoln Mark 7 or 80's Tbird?
My longtime bro Mike Edwards built and completely restored his 1973 Dodge Challenger in a Brooklyn garage (and apartment). Mike's one of my longtime best friends, you've seen him on HOTROD Garage, he was my crew chief in drifting, and he's an absolute wizard as a mechanic. This is the story of one dude with basic hand tools who puta ton of sweat and hours after work into his dream car and turned a shell and a pile of parts into a killer street machine! It doesn't get any cooler than this!
After a late night searching on Marketplace, I came across this insane 1974 Firebird for sale that had just been listed! It's got a wild 6 color paint scheme with tons of flake, velour interior, chrome wheels, and a giant hole in the hood for a supercharger to poke through. I was able to track down the original builder and get the incredible story of this home-built 80's rocker!
The classic/muscle car/Hot Rod market has gone insane and it's nearly impossible to find a good cheap project car right now! I've got some picks that might be some of the last affordable buys, and they all have massive potential! Let me know what others you think are a good buy in the comments! Thanks for watching, and don't forget to like and subscribe!
I got my hands on a 1983 Suzuki GS1100 E, the first 10 second bike EVER! I scooped this thing a couple years ago and am finally getting it out of the back room and onto the streets! It's one of the cleanest examples I've ever seen and it's worked up well past stock. After some cleanup, it's ready to rip down the road!
My 1974 Street Freak Firebird needs a proper Supercharged Pontiac V8 making big power and bigger noise! This 1975 Smog Era is actually a great candidate to make big power! I scooped this greasy, grimy, very seized 400 for $900 bucks, but it's got all the potential in the world. I'll explain why as I fight and claw this thing apart.
I have ALWAYS wanted a proper mid engine supercar, but I checked my wallet and the F40 is out of the question! With a lot of searching I grabbed a 1979 Lotus Esprit, which is one of the all time best looking, proper iconic supercars! I went out to grab it with a bunch of my buddies and we had a blast just trying to get this thing fired up! We shot this before we had wireless mics, but the sound is pretty decent.
I HAD to list another group of 5 killer muscle car buys because there was so much great feedback on the last one and I think I put together a very solid list. Some out of the box stuff here and some stuff that has been really popular. All great buys and all really fun cars in this one. Get out and get one today! Let me know your thoughts on these pics and YES I know I need a haircut! Thanks for watching, please like and subscribe! This video marks 4 weeks in a row of content and we are gonna try to keep this train rolling!
My 1974 Barn Find Firebird is coming back to life, quickly! We spent the week getting this proper Street Freak back to its 1983 glory and it's looking so killer! Just a bunch of hard work and elbow grease transformed this rolling automotive carnival. There's some engine updates in there, and this thing will be rumbling down the road with a Blown 461 Pontiac motor soon! Stay Tuned!
After my last 911 sold, I was on the hunt for one of the special Sport Models and came across this beauty about 3 hrs north of LA in Central Coast CA. I emptied my bank account and scooped up a very solid, but pretty faded and ugly 2002 Porsche 911 C4S. I took it back home to PA, gave it a good cleanup, paint correct, and some repairs and it will be ready to hit the auction block soon! Is the Porsche market softening? Are 996's still swinging up? Let's find out!
We've been blasting to get my 'Cuda ready to hit the track for a local charity race, Race4thehouse. The car hasn't seen any action in a few years and it's NOT setup for Drag racing but with 500HP it should still do the damn thing, right?!
The 100 Series Toyota Land Cruiser and its high society twin, the LX 470 are some of the toughest, unkillable SUVS every made, and you can still get them at a great price! This is the story of my (currently) 250k mile LX470, that I paid 6k for, and have been treating it like a rented mule for 2 years and this thing loves it! This is maybe the most overbuilt vehicle of all time that still has leather and AC and it's a killer value!
My 1999 LX470 Soccer Mom Mobile got a taste of the adventure/offroad life this week and it was a hate/love relationship from the jump! Stock suspension exploded and failed immediately but we weren't going to quit. We took it upstate to the AOAA and had a blast with the guys from Off-Road Consulting. Killer time, and we BARELY made it home.
These 5 Cars were blessed with looks, handling, value, and potential, just not Horsepower! Every car on this list is just one motor swap away from being the total package, and that means they are overlooked, underloved and a great value! If you think there might be some other bangers I missed, lay em on me in the comments!
Building up the 400 Stroker Motor for my 1974 FireBird Street Freak, and these stock 6x Heads aren't going to cut it, even with an 8-71 Blower Cramming down the boost! It's time for a proper head-porting job on these things. It's dirty, takes forever, you'll get metal shavings places you didn't know about, but it's FREE! Check out the port-party and a bunch of updates on my Barn-Fresh Firebird project.
I spent all my money on crappy project cars, and parts, the rest I just wasted! Why finish one project car when you could just buy another one and dig deeper into into the Project Car Hole!? I've had to get a second shop space, our bunker, and it's already crammed full of half-finished, long forgotten and definitely not roadworthy projects. Here's the whole stable of cars that I've got together, the good, the bad and the rusty. Check 'em all out because we've gotta get them done one way or another. (Ok, the Demon is great but it's been mostly downhill from there!).
Break Out Another Thousand! That's what boat ownership is like, unless you are my sister, apparently! I got roped into a "flywheel replacement" on her Mercruiser 185, but it turned into a complete disaster. It actually was a really fun time and we will get this thing rocking one way or another. Anything for family, so it's all good. Stay Tuned for the next one!
This Cutlass is a total mystery! I got this thing in trade with no real background information. It was someone's long term project and they passed away before it was finished. We know the paint is fresh and it's got a V8 under the hood, that's really it The rest was all just a mix of guesses and some detective work. The last time it was registered was 2008, so I'm gonna put it at sitting about 15 years. We threw a ton of time and parts that we had laying around this week, trying to get it up and running! Check it out!
This 1970 Cutlass hasn't been on the road since 2005. I don't know much about it besides it was a long term project, the owner passed away, and at some point it was torn apart for a paint job and never put back together. It's a basic Olds 350 V8 with an 80's 2004R behind it, and it's pretty mild but we've gotten it running pretty well. Last registration sticker was in 2005. We spent the week just putting parts back on, redoing frozen brakes, getting it running better and driving and then took it out for the first drive in 17 plus years! This thing is AWESOME! We worked super hard to get the Audio issues dialed and get good shots, and this one turned out killer!
The Market is finally coming back down to Earth!~I cleaned up and Sold my Porsche 911 this week, and it didn't go GREAT. We spent a few weeks re powdercoating the wheels, doing a crazy dry-ice blasting and then did our best to get it sold. It WAS NOT EASY. Figure out how to be on the right side of this market and get ready to make some moves!
After a nasty suspension failure on my LX470 left us dragging on the ground, I had to tear out the original stock system and completely overhaul everything. It's 100% better than ever. Every 250k mile bushing, arm, spring and shock were thrown at the ground in favor of all new OME and Dorman parts. We did a 2 inch lift on the car, a front diff drop, and suspension refresh as well. It's ready for another half a million miles, and we took it out and had some fun on the street and dirt to make sure! Check it out.
I bought my 1971 Dodge Demon when I was 15 for $3350 and it absolutely changed my life. I invited my buddy Hudson over to go over the car, fix a couple things, and take it out for some fun. Hudson's an incredible kid, who is on his 3rd heart after 2 transplants and just wanted to come down and have a day in the shop. It was great day telling stories, turning wrenches and burning tires.
I've had this long dormant 1970 Cutlass project for a couple of years. We blew the dust off of it, got it fired up and driving and now it's time to make some power with this thing! It's a mild Olds Rocket 350 with some bolt ons, but that didn't stop us from throwing every trick in the book at this thing to make horsepower.
If you are a car-obsessed maniac looking to get into racing, building hot rods, or anything, let's go! I've worked in, around and with cars my whole life and there's a lot of ways to get into the car world even if you didn't grow up in a racing family. Check out this list and let me know what you think!
In 2019 Mike Finnegan and I Raced his '55 Chevy Blashemi in the HOT ROD Drag Week and won EVERYTHING. Won the class, set the fastest run record, and the overall fasted average record. This time went uh, much differently. We fought this car top to bottom and back again through one of the roughest weeks in racing I can remember. Can't wait for next year!
Supercharged Pontiac Power is finally here! This thing came alive once we bolted the 6-71 Blower on top of our Butler 462 Stroker Engine and nearly doubled the horsepower! Wheels up launches are coming soon! Full Episode is up on the Hagerty Channel!
There's absolutely nothing that can transform the attitude of your manual shifted street or race car like having a proper faceplated racing transmission. A Dogbox, or crashbox allow you to change gear at ANY RPM, and as quickly as you can move the shifter. Between the gear-whine from the straight cut gears, the bang as they hit each shift, and the speed with which they work, there's nothing like one! If you know a better single modification, I'd like to hear about it!
Chasing 10's in my Street Freak Firebird after reviving this thing from the DEAD! I scooped up this totally 80's Barn Find 1974 Firebird in 2019 for 1000 bucks and have spent the last year turning it back into a ROWDY street/strip car that has enough flake in the paint to blind pedestrians. We go back over the story of getting it up and running, and then install a proper Nascar 4 speed Dog-box, 9 inch rear, and a set of slicks and hit the track!
I have ALWAYS wanted a Syclone. This was the quickest vehicle in the world in ‘91 and the fastest truck to 60 FOR THIRTY YEARS. Imaging a GMC pickup truck being faster than every Ferrari and Lambo on the market, insane! I went to buy the cheapest running and driving (roughly) one I could find in 2000 miles. After digging into the truck, with the body, and running like a mess, it was really hard to justify the steep price tag.
After a BIG Explosion, we found a fully forged, stroker 4.6 4V engine for our Cheap Turbo Lincoln! Last time we made 394WHP with a stock Mark VIII engine after bolting on a $317 70MM Turbocharger, and this new setup should make even more! Watch the whole week unfold in this 40 minute video! Sit back and grab a snack, it's a long one!
There recipe is: take one small, lightweight, RWD car and cram it full of V8 horsepower and beef up the drivetrain to match, bake (tires) for 30 seconds, and you get one sweet little drag car! 1986-1992 Rx7's are plentiful, affordable and usually don't run, so they make the perfect candidate for a fun, basic drag strip machine!
We put the screws to our Turbocharged Lincoln Mark VIII and see what she can do on the Dyno! After our Cheap Turbo Lincoln exploded the stock engine, we put in a fully forged stroker 4.6 32V V8 with a built transmission and full Holley EFI and after a quick break in, we are going to see just what kind of power this high revving V8 can pump out! Grandpa's Lincoln was never like this one!
My 1987 V8 Swapped Rx-7 just will NOT stay still long enough to do a burnout! I've never seen a car that wants to go so badly, and we're doing anything we can to get these tires warmed up so we can get some parking lot hits under our belt before we unleash this thing on the drag strip!
EV Cars are BRUTALLY FAST, but they just aren't for me. I want to have the look and feel of a muscle car, pumped full of electric speed. I bought the quickest sedan in the world from 2015, a Tesla P90D wrecked at Auction, and I'm going to gut it for all the EV speed parts we need. If I can sell enough junk, I'll get the parts I need for FREE!
Take a 575 HP legendary 2JZ and slam it into a 90's Big Benz SL500 and you've got one of the coolest cars ever. We put this thing together and it hasn't seen any real action. We pull out the slush box and cram in a manual 6 speed from a 350Z and then take this Benz out to unleash the beast!
From Undriveable to Unstoppable! SUCCESS!!! We've got our 2JZGTE Swapped Mercedes Benz SL500 up and RIPPING with the new 6 Speed manual swap. After a complete let down in the first go around with this car, we did a lot of digging, and trouble shooting to get that turbocharged Toyota 6 cylinder running and full steam, and it's a BEAST! It's out running around on the PA streets and it's a complete riot! A tire killing, big boost luxury boat is a thing of beauty!
The Porsche 996 is the most affordable 911, and this car is the most affordable 996! I threw a low-ball offer at a very popular Ebay auction for an automatic 911 in pieces late one night and woke up to find that I had purchased it! A quick trip to Chicago to grab the car, and another one to Chavis Performance Engineering to get started on cramming a hunk of American V8 LS power into it was such an adventure! No Pizza in this one, because a Taylor Swift concert ruined Chicago traffic but we managed to get some local grub anyway!
We cruised to NC to meet @FinnegansGarage and his sick 1000+ HP '55 Chevy so that we could get it tested, tuned and ready for the next Drag and Drive event. AND He offered to let me race the legendary car and get my NHRA license once we had it dialed! It was a thrash for the ages, and we aren't done yet!
We take my 700 Horsepower Streak Freak Firebird to the annual Race 4 The House Charity event at Maple Grove Raceway! We make some killer passes down the track, but BEST OF ALL we reunite the original painter and builder of my Firebird with his old car, and get him behind the wheel! Can he handle all of that supercharged power? Does he like what we did with the car? STAY TUNED to find out!
My 1972 Drift/Street Cuda, the Fishtail 'Cuda, has been sitting since I whipped it together for 2016 SEMA. When the dust cleared after a 6 week thrash build, the car just didn't drive and feel like I had imagined and it didn't leave me excited to work on it. Finally, after a new spark of inspiration, we decided to completely revamp the front suspension with the new QA1 kit, replacing the home-brewed kit that I had made. Did I fall back in love? Check it out and see!
What happens when you mix one 1978 Ford F250 Camper Special, and one 1997 Dodge 3500 12v hotshot truck? One DEEPLY cool, body swapped, mega torque, towing monster with enough patina and old school vibes to make anyone drool. Will we get this thing fired back up and on the road after a YEARS of rotting in a field? Is this the Stay Tuned channel's new tow pig? STAY TUNED to find out!
What happens when you take one $1,200 4x4 S10, one 4.3 AWD Astro Van, and one $675 Amazon Turbo kit? The SIKE CLONE is born! In this episode, we tear down a nasty junkyard van and a nearly rust-free 4x4 short bed S10, add a cheap turbo kit, and merge the two of them together to create an AWD 4.3 Turbo truck, reminiscent of the GMC Syclone from 1991. But this is Stay Tuned, so we do it on the down and dirty, dirt cheap, and get it together quick!
I took my 1972 'Cuda to Englishtown Raceway Park for 0-60 testing, Road Racing Runs, and of course some Drift Action! After Years of Building this 'Cuda this way and that, I decided to make it a great ALL AROUND driving car! It's a 392 Gen III Hemi, T56 6 Speed, Custom Rear 3 link, QA1 Coilover front suspension and giant brakes all around. Give it a click and try not to inhale any tire chunks!
Our cheap AWD Junkyard Turbo 4.3 S10 project continues as we get the drivetrain fully installed, plumb, wire, and assemble everything to get this ripper fired up! Will it make killer turbo noises? Will it turn ALL 4 TIRES? Stay Tuned to find out as the guys thrash hard this week on Project SikeClone!
Our dirt cheap AWD 4.3 V6 Turbo S10 project continues as we get this thing sitting low, take care of a handful of modifications to make the transmission shift properly, and button it up to hit the streets! Will it go 0-60 faster than a GMC Syclone? Will this thing do AWD burnouts in spectacular fashion? Stay Tuned to find out as we hammer down this week on Project SikeClone and hit the streets!
Can you still get a killer cheap muscle car for under $5,000?! In this episode, the guys load up on a new adventure to see a few F-Bodies, a few Dodge Polaras, and a few Dodge D150's. I show you how to look for a deal, how to make a deal, how to get something running that's been sitting for years, and everything in between. PLUS, I've got a big surprise in store for Barb. STAY TUNED as we embark on a super fun few days of automotive excitement!
Junkyard LS Swaps are EVERYWHERE! Prices range from 600 bucks to 3500 on the used market, so WHICH ONES ARE WORTH THE MONEY?! We take a $2000 6.0 Gen 4 Truck Engine and put it against a $1000 5.3 Gen 4 with the same modifications! They get the same upgraded camshafts, springs and valvetrain, and the same induction setup, and we try to decide if the extra squeeze is worth the cash!
Faster than the Factory!! We pitted our Sike Clone against the legendary performance numbers of the 1991 GMC Syclone, the quickest truck 0-60 in the world for 30 years. We had to increase increase performance so we whipped up a side exit exhaust and installed a Corvette transmission servo for quicker shifts, and changed some funky oil. Then we took it to an AWD Dyno at RT Tuning, and boosted it into the danger zone to make max horsepower and Torque. Finally, we were ready to run it down the back straight at Raceway Park, and see if this budget beater could run with the Syclone!
After the Stay Tuned crew dragged this '64 440 out of an old body shop where it was sitting for 20 plus years, they set out to get this thing running mint and driving down the road! After some nasty rust repair, disc brakes all around, QA1 suspension, new Dorman fuel tank, and some other odds and ends, the guys see if all their hard work pays off and it'll tear down the road after sitting untouched for DECADES!
On this episode of Stay Tuned we head to Bristol, Tennesee to scoop up one of the most iconic hot rods that I've wanted forever and had to get my hands on. I was also invited to race in Cleetus' Bristol 1000 Crown Vic race, which was a BLAST! Going head to head with 30 other maniacs on such an iconic track was wild! STAY TUNED for a killer weekend adventure!
After sitting in a body shop under a thick layer of overspray for 20+ years, we revived my '64 Dodge 440 and got it running. This thing is packing a 383 Big Block, push button 727, an 8.75 rearend, and enough rust to make any body man quit his job. In this episode, we swap in a fresh transmission, do a few small modifications, and get it "road worthy" to attempt the 800+ mile drive to Bowling Green, KY for Holley Moparty. Can this 60 year old land yacht that hasn't ran in 20+ years make it more than 800 miles? STAY TUNED to find out!
We took our ratty, untested, and recently revived '64 Dodge 440 that we thrashed on for a week, on an epic roadtrip, spanning 800+ miles from Pennsylvania to Kentucky for Holley's Moparty event. There were many roadside repairs, oil vapor in every county of PA, and even a stop at Summit Racing in Ohio! This was a killer time, and everyone should get out there and drive their old muscle cars the distance like we did, and enjoy cruisin' with your buddies!
It's time to hunt EVEN MORE SPEED from our SikeClone project! Our AWD S10 Turbo build that went even faster than the legendary Syclone last time we ran it is TIRED! It's time to dig into a fresh junkyard V6 and this time prepare it for mega levels of boost and horsepower! As always, we keep it pretty cost-effective and super fun here on Stay Tuned!
What happens when you cram 5.3 liters of rowdy, loud, American Chevrolet V8 motor into the back of a Porsche 911? Project PowerKraut! In this episode of Tony Angelo's Stay Tuned, we shoehorn a built up aluminum block 5.3 LS engine into the back of a 1999 Porsche 911, using a killer swap kit from Chavis Performance Engineering. Jam packed with Summit Racing and Holley goodies, this engine made great power on the dyno before making its way, backwards, into the Porsche. Can we get this package in there nice and tidy? Stay Tuned to find out!
What happens when you take a junkyard 4.3 V6 engine, tear it down, gap the rings, toss in a nasty Comp Cam, and throw in a Summit Racing torque converter? More turbo boost, more speed, faster launches, and more rowdiness for our DIY Syclone!! In this episode Tony Angelo and crew take the SikeClone to the next level with some key upgrades that will really boost this thing's performance big time. Will it go 0-60 in less than 4 seconds? Will it stay in once piece while doing so? STAY TUNED to find out!
Cramming 5.3 liters of American fury into the backside of a Cheap Porsche 911 isn't easy but it sure is fun! Watch Tony Angelo and his Stay Tuned crew get this 1999 Porsche 911 running with the new 400hp all aluminum LS Chevy V8! Power Kraut is up and running and sounding like no other 911 around!
Tony Angelo's Best bud Mike Edwards bought this 1987 Ramcharger on a whim after seeing it for sale online with the golden phrase "MUST SELL TODAY". Bought and paid for before he saw it, and driven by stubbornness and a will to prove Tony wrong, Mikey turned this old crusty dog into a very solid weekend adventurer! Watch the Stay Tuned crew get this old 360 running strong with some needed upgrades after sitting for decades!
Stay Tuned is growing and to keep on chugging it's time to unload one of my most iconic builds ever! Tony Angelo and the Stay Tuned Crew go through all the upcoming projects on the channel and it's onto bigger and better things! There's a couple of cars you haven't seen in a long time and one that's never been seen!
DIY Syclone: Cheaper, Faster, Better, AWD TURBO S10!? | PART 7 - CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S THE SAME TRUCK!
Our dirt cheap, LS powered 911 project, Powerkraut, is about ready to hit the streets! Tony Angelo and the Stay Tuned crew get after it this week, completing the entire 6 speed conversion, make a custom cooling system front to back, and even convert the Porsche wiring to use Holley drive by wire! Can we blast outta here with that V8 LS singing behind us?! Stay Tuned to find out!
The legendary GMC Syclone was one of the quickest cars of the 1990s and was incredibly quick for their time! To buy one now could cost you over 50 THOUSAND USD, but you can build one yourself with mostly junkyard parts for about 7500 bucks! With a little tuning and a little luck you'll wind up with something EVEN QUICKER than GMC built!
Cramming a nasty all-aluminum LS V8 into the back of a 996 isn't the most simple project we've done here on Stay Tuned but it's one of the raddest! After a long few weeks getting this car ready to drive, PowerKraut is finally a driver and it is such a beast! Watch Tony Angelo and the ST crew get this long-exploded 996 project rolling with Big, Nasty American Speed!
I've had an Aston Martin V12 waiting in the shop to be swapped into the perfect hunk of American Muscle and finally found it! We're combining this wild high-tech 48 V DOHC V12 with a proper 80's Icon to create the perfect mix of fancy and furious! Watch Tony Angelo and the Stay Tuned crew get started on the next wild build!
Tony Angelo scooped up this 1980 D150 that has been used to haul trash and scrap since 2012 a couple months ago for $800 bucks! After gifting it to Michael Barbalinardo, they decided to get this truck transformed into a great little run around street machine with the other Stay Tuned guys! For a grand total of 2400 bucks, this truck runs, stops turns and looks wicked cool!
This ONE OWNER, 27k Mile C4 is the nicest car any of us here at Stay Tuned have ever seen. It was just purchased at Auction by my good buddy Brenden, and he thought it would be a good idea to leave it with us for a week to give it a once over. Tony Angelo and the Stay Tuned crew surprised him with a bunch of sweet upgrades to this absolute time capsule and made it better, faster, and even cooler than when it rolled off the showroom floor in 1986!
I bought a long dormant, rust bucket 1990 240SX 3 years ago for one reason, it had the Japanese Market Sr20DET Engine Swap inside. After spending a ton of time firing up an engine that hadn't ran since 2006, I have sporadically upgraded the turbo, the chassis, and other parts of the car, but it hasn't moved under its own power since the iPhone 1 was released! Watch Tony Angelo and the Stay Tuned Crew thrash on this little turbocharged beastie and get it up and tearing down the streets once again!
We've been thrashing on PowerKraut for weeks now and it's finally time to get this thing working right~! The engine didn't fit under the decklid, it was leaking coolant from 10 different spots, and the wheels/tire package were pretty underwhelming. Watch Tony Angelo and the Stay Tuned crew work and fight this 996 Porsche until it finally finally turns into a proper street machine!
My buddy Tylar had a 1982 Trans Am as his first car, bought it at 15, souped it up, and it sparked a life long obsession with muscle cars, horsepower, and going fast. Like so many people, he sold it to buy his next project and spent years and years regretting it. He was looking online for another one and somehow managed to find his exact car sitting in a yard not too far away! Watch Tony Angelo and the Stay Tuned crew work their grimy magic on the old 'Bird and get it back up and running in no time!
Our dirt cheap AWD turbo S10 project “SikeClone” needs more power and some beefing up! We proved we can build a cheaper, faster, better Syclone for less than you can buy one, and now it’s time to throw a few bucks at this thing and really make it perform! The Stay Tuned crew throws a set of Vortec heads at this junkyard engine, as well as a KILLER Gearstar 4L60e, beefed up transfer case, and Yank billet converter. Is this the boost that the SikeClone needed to get those sub 4 second 0-60 runs? Stay Tuned to find out!
Tony Angelo and the Stay Tuned crew are out to transform a dull '98 Lincoln Mark VIII into a 600+ Horsepower Turbo monster that will roast just about any muscle car that comes along! JUNKYARD BIG BLOCK POWER! This week Tony Angelo and the Stay Tuned dudes get back on their junkyard big block build for Mike Kunz’s (video guy) chopped and t-topped ’83 C10. After a comedy of errors the week before, the boys finally got parts together, and got to work. Using the original Mark IV block and crank, rods from the junkyard Gen 5 engine, a set of dome pistons, and a rack of parts from Summit Racing, the guys wrapped up the build and took it to Chris over at Wilson Racing engines to see what kind of power their BBC creation would make. Would it make big power, or be a big flop? STAY TUNED to find out!

After 2 LONG years of building and waiting and more building Tony Angelo's Aston Martin V12 powered 1989 Mustang hits the streets! This supercar swapped Fox-body runs and sounds like no other Mustang on the road. Before they can drive it though, TA and the Stay Tuned crew just have to knock out a few last minute things like cooling, and exhaust and a place to put the throttle pedal.

I had ZERO luck selling my 240SX Drift car, and I have been really wanting to get back on 2 wheels so when the opportunity arose to trade it for a Bike I wanted and some cash, I just had to drive the 800 mile round trip to get it all done. My first time ever owning an American made bike but it just feels right.
