The last stretch of our epic 3000NM passage from South Africa to La Reunion. Sadly we get struck with another equipment failure when our Satellite phone catches on fire, and we lose all means of communication with the outside world :/ Totally scary! But luckily the weather finally started to calm down from 40-50kn to only about 25-30kn! :D This made us all feel a little bit more human, Karin started baking, Brian started fixing some of our broken systems and we even caught our first fish! And after 15 days at sea we finally spotted land! :D Much love from a crew that’s so stoked to set foot on solid ground again!
