Otagawa Minoru and Ejima Chihiro investigate the death of a high school girl. She apparently committed suicide by jumping out of her bedroom window in the high school dormitory. If the incident seems simple at first sight, the superior of Chihiro orders him to look further into the file. After carrying out their little investigation and questioning some high school students, Otagawa and Chihiro begin to take an interest in a mysterious cursed DVD that the victim would have watched before he died. Chihiro will even go so far as to watch this famous DVD too...

Otagawa Minoru et Ejima Chihiro enquêtent sur la mort d'une lycéenne. Celle-ci se serait visiblement suicidée en sautant par la fenêtre de sa chambre dans le dortoir du lycée. Si l'incident parait simple à première vue, le supérieur de Chihiro lui ordonne d'approfondir le dossier. Après avoir mené leur petite enquête et interrogé quelques élèves du lycée, Otagawa et Chihiro commencent à s'intéresser à un mystérieux DVD maudit que la victime aurait regardé avant de mourir. Chihiro va même aller jusqu'à visionner elle aussi ce fameux DVD...

柏木由紀演じる江島千尋は貝塚北署の交通課勤務の婦警。しかし、千尋にはもう一つの顔があった。署で表沙汰にできない事件を搜査する秘密部隊の一員だったのだ。千尋は同僚の太田川稔（澤部佑）とともに事件解決へ向け大奮闘する！とある夜、女子高生が寮のベランダから飛び降りてしまった。現場検證が行われ自殺と斷定される。しかしこの事件、単なる自殺ではなかった・・・。千尋は署內で表沙汰にできない事件を秘密裡に搜査していた。今回の事件も、貝塚北署の署長の命令を受け、極秘搜査をするというのだった。千尋は同署の刑事・太田川に一緒に再搜査をしてほしいと頼む。太田川は最初は斷るも、千尋から「一緒に女子高生に聞き込みしてほしい」と言われると興味が湧いてしまい、極秘搜査へ參加することに。「呪いのDVD」を見て死んだといううわさがあるこの謎の事件、果たして二人は解決できるのか！？

＊《神探伽俐略2》的衍生劇在新人刑警岸谷美砂到達貝冢北署搜查課之前，一個名叫中西舞的高中女生在深夜墜樓身亡。雖然初步調查女孩死於自殺，但是坊間流傳一張神秘的詛咒DVD光盤才是導致其死亡的真正原因。為了查出事件背後的原因，交通課女警江島千尋（柏木由紀飾）拜託太田川稔警官（澤部佑飾）調查真相。他們深入中西所在高中，並從其寓所找到了那張光盤。莽撞率真的千尋不像太田川那般圓滑，她竟然膽大包天播放了那張記錄著恐怖影像的DVD。案情撲朔迷離，不久他們又發現了其他DVD的觀看者。在湯川教授外出學術交流之際，萬年教授助手栗林（渡邊一計飾）將閃亮登場……
