Brooke tries to seduce James but he rejects her. James asks Brooke what she would think if he told her he was a virgin. Taylor tells Ridge that she and James are friends just as he is friends with Brooke. Taylor tells Ridge that if he wants this marriage to work he will call Brooke immediately and tell her he cannot go to Europe with her. James and Brooke admit to one another they are hopelessly in love with other people.
