Sir Henry Morton Stanley and his expedition to Africa

The History Guy remembers Henry Stanley and the Emin Pasha Relief Expedition, the last great expedition to the interior of Africa in the nineteenth century. It had serious consequences for Stanley and affected his reputation for the rest of his life. It is history that deserves to be remembered. The History Guy uses images that are in the Public Domain. As photographs of actual events are often not available, I will sometimes use photographs of similar events or objects for illustration.
