Mt. St. Helens Volcano

The massive and explosive eruption of Mount St. Helens in Washington state followed weeks of earthquakes, ash and steam. There is a rising death toll and uncertainty about further eruuptions. Scientists put this eruption in context with prior eruptions which have helped them develop predictions about how volcanos evolve.
