    On episode 2 of The Taste of Success, it’s Connaught/Ulster in the spotlight. Executive Chef of the 5 star Lough Erne estate, Noel McMeel is Paul Flynn’s regional mentor and he’s picked the best eight contestants from the region. So tonight it’s time to taste all the products. Be prepared to meet Tolson from Belfast who has cooked for Britain’s Queen Elizabeth, Gabriel with his Aran Island’s Goats’ Cheese and Eithne with her Breakfast spreads whose hoping her product will perform as well as she does. All will be revealed…. Eight contestants show their wares but four will be going home after tonight. Who will be in line to win The Taste of Success?

    On Episode 3 of The Taste of Success, it’s Dublin in the spotlight. Irish Times Cookery Writer Domini Kemp is Paul Flynn’s regional mentor and she’s picked the best 8 contestants from the capital. So tonight it’s time for her and Paul to taste all the products. Following her own recent recovery from cancer, Domini is very focused on the health value of these products. So addiction counsellor Kathy is right on track with her Nettle Pesto. And Domini is also impressed with chef Creagh’s Chicken Broth which was prompted by his own mother’s brush with cancer. But some of the competition they’re up against includes Anna’s Legendary Cheese Ball and Oliver’s Duck Sausage. 8 contestants show their wares but 4 will be going home after tonight. Who will be in line to win The Taste of Success?

    On Episode 4 of The Taste of Success, it’s Munster in the spotlight. That culinary dream team, Paul Flynn and Martin Shanahan are reunited to taste and judge the province’s best eight contestants. And Martin is a man on a mission. He fights hard for his eight contestants, believing one of them could go all the way. So get ready to meet 19-year-old medical student Aoife who is showcasing her Healthy Muesli, organic pig farmer Alfie with his Pork Burger, 80-year-old Betty with her Poitin Marmalade and finally Padraig, a promising young chef whose career was cut short, and who is aiming to get back into food with his Beef Short Ribs. Eight contestants show their wares but four will be going home after tonight. Who will be in line to win The Taste of Success?

    It’s Round 2 of The Taste of Success and tonight contestants from North, South, East and West battle it out to win €100,000 and get their product on the shelves of every Lidl store in Ireland. Only 16 candidates from the 4 regional heats remain. But half of them are about to be eliminated. Tonight the candidates must prepare their products from scratch in front of Paul and their regional mentor. So the 4 mentors – Leinster’s Catherine Fulvio, Munster’s Martin Shanahan, Conaught/Ulster’s Noel McMeel and Dublin’s Domini Kemp – are all putting their best 4 candidates forward. But they can only choose 2 to go through to the Quarter Final. Eleanor’s Gluten Free Bread, Creagh’s Chicken Broth, Peter’s Fish Cakes and Anna’s Legendary Cheese Ball are just some of the prouducts who are vying to get through. But who will capture The Taste of Success?

    It’s the quarter final of The Taste of Success and only 8 candidates remain to battle it out to win 100,000 euro and get their product on the shelves of every Lidl store in Ireland. Now the regional food mentors need to get behind their candidates and do everything they can to improve their products. But will Catherine Fulvio, Martin Shanahan, Domini Kemp and Noel McMeel steer them in the right direction? The 3 Lidl judges make their first appearance and the episode ends in a nail biting finale as half the contestants are eliminated

    It’s the semi final of The Taste of Success and only four candidates remain to battle it out to win €100,000 and get their product on the shelves of every Lidl store in Ireland. Now it’s time to see if they can upscale their products so the final four contestants visit food suppliers all around Ireland. But some of this involves compromising their products. Will they be prepared to do that? The products are now as good as they can be but which 2 will impress the judges to make to the Grand Final?

    It’s the Grand Final of The Taste of Success and Creagh Moore’s Chicken Broth and Padraig McCarthy’s Beef Short Rib are the last two contenders to be in with a chance of winning €100,000. Their products are almost perfect but they have to put them to the test one last time. So Padraig heads to Martin Shanahan’s Fishy Fishy restaurant and puts his Beef dish on the menu. Creagh fulfils a long held ambition of chatting to kids about healthy eating and feeds a hungry bunch of 10-year-olds with his Health Potion. After that they have to face the judges one last time until the nail biting final when the winner of The Taste of Success is finally revealed.

    The Taste of Success kicks off with Domini Kemp showcasing the best of Dublin's food innovators. Be prepared to meet contestants including music producer Ken who thinks his luxurious fish pate will make Domini sing; baker Graham who hopes his twist on a classic will take him all the way and civil servant Geoffrey who is taking a risk with his Granny's recipe. The competition is tough as six contestants show their wares but only two will go through to the next round. Who will be next in line to win The Taste of Success?

    The stakes are high for reigning champion Martin Shanahan, after winning the competition last year with Padraig McCarthy from Limerick. But will one of Martin's six take him all the way again? Tonight we meet Clonakilty mum-of-two Antoinette Moore who's getting a second chance with her dish. Metal fabricator Rob Murphy from Cork City hopes his salsa will partner him to the final. Culinary arts student Claire McAuliffe from Midleton who definitely has some swing behind her. Jose Antonio Mansilla Yanguas from Shannon who takes a humble Irish ingredient and adds some Spanish flair. Ross Hurley from Co Kerry who's hoping the €100,000 will turn his luck around and beachcomer Sykoni Lowes from Bantry who needs all the 'kelp' she can get. 6 contestants show their wares with only two progressing to the next round. Who will be in line to win The Taste of Success?

    On episode four of The Taste of Success, it's Connaught/Ulster in the spotlight. Michelin-starred restaurateur, chef and author JP McMahon is in charge and his standards are very high. He's picked the best six contestants from the region on paper so tonight it's time to put them to the taste test. Be prepared to meet: Music teacher Siobhan Shaughnessy from Athenry, Co Galway, whose desert is not to be trifled with and who is competing to join her brother Ken McHugh, who made it through the Dublin round. Ex-New Yorker Grace Kirby who is used to rubbing shoulders with the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker. Single mother Joanne Clarke from Westport, Co Mayo whose nuts about sweet things. Forager Conor Mulholland from Furbo, Co Galway, who's bringing the wild inside. Darren Smith from Moville, Co Donegal who's bringing back an 80's classic with a twist. And Danny Coleman from Ballinrobe, Co Mayo, who hopes his love of molecular gastronomy will wow JP. Six contestants show their wares with only two progressing to the next round. Who will be in line to win The Taste of Success?

    Only eight candidates from the four regional heats remain. But half of them are about to be eliminated. Tonight the candidates must prepare their products from scratch in front of their regional mentor. So the 4 mentors - Leinster's Catherine Fulvio, Munster's Martin Shanahan, Connaught/Ulster's JP McMahon and Dublin's Domini Kemp - will all be selecting their Regional champion, who will go on to represent them when they meet the Lidl Judging panel for the first time. Will Ken McHugh and his Luxurious Smoked Fish Pate reign supreme over Geoffrey Keegan's Granny's Christmas Pudding Ice-cream for Domini? Martin has a tough choice between Antoinette Moore's Forever Free Lasagne and Jose Antonio Mansilla Yanguas's innovative potato fondant and Catherine must decide if she wants to champion John Core's Italian Hot Pot or Karyn Ryan's Choco Banoffee Banana Loaf. Will JP favour Darren Smith's Crispy Pancake or Joanne Clarke's Nutty Bread and Butter Pudding? Who will capture The Taste of Success?

This year top chef Paul Flynn joins the Lidl judging panel who make their first appearance tonight and the episode ends in a nail-biting finale as one of the regional champions is sent home.
