律政司高級助理刑事檢控專員包希仁患有罕見的「鏡反射觸覺症」，具有極致同理心。他以還原案件100%真相為目標，致力讓被告認罪，減少受害者面對冗長聆訊的痛苦。希仁與律政書記公孫珀、志同道合的高級督察展熊飛、曾是受害者的秦湘言、實習檢控官趙子幀等人通力合作，伸張正義。眾人遇到不少阻力，希仁甚至要與身為財團長女的母親為敵、跟身為大律師的舊情人王頌星對壘……然而，希仁堅守信念，誓要還受害人一個真相和公道！
