I finally re-wrapped my steering wheel. It cost next to nothing and took a few hours. I'm pleased with the results. Fit isn't perfect, but really not that bad at all considering you can get these for 20-40 dollars on Ebay or Ali-Express. Just search "E46 steering wheel wrap" " E46 steering wheel cover" and browse around. They are made for a wide variety of cars now.
