Chicago's finest are losing the battle to control the flow of illicit drugs in the city. However, Detective Joe Miedzianowski's arrest record for drugs and guns is astonishing. He appears to be able to turn even the most hardened dealers, gangbangers and seductive drug couriers from the Latin Lovers and Imperial Gangsters street gangs, into police informants. But after a series of suspicious events when even fellow officers find it's best not to challenge him, the FBI begins to wonder if Miedzianowski really is a brilliant cop or if he's using his badge as a shield for something more sinister.
