    Dan and Ania from the south coast have applied to adopt. Originally from Poland, Ania met Dan 10 years ago when she came to the UK to work. Dan has two older daughters but the couple want a child of their own. Will they find a baby? Also in this episode, we meet a baby living with foster carers. He desperately needs a family to love and give him a permanent home. His birthparents have struggled with mental illness for many years and can’t take care of him. Will his social worker be able to find the right family for him?

    David and Leanne's story continues as they are finally about to meet the young sisters they hope will be their daughters. The programme also introduces civil partners Glenn and Chris, who have been together for 14 years and became the first gay couple to adopt in Stoke, having raised two boys. They now want to expand their family - could they be the last hope for a brother and sister who have been in care for two years and are about to be separated?

    Sandra and Jones, who have just turned 30, weren't prepared to go through years of unsuccessful IVF treatment, so they decided to adopt. However, even though they are quickly matched with a toddler in foster care, there's no guarantee they will be approved. Meanwhile, there's an unexpected turn of events for prospective parents Alison and Andy at the final hurdle.

    Nicky Campbell meets foster carers Sean and Danielle, who are looking after a baby with a genetic disorder that affects his hearing. Social workers take the boy's details to an adoption exchange day, where single mum-of-three Clair thinks he would be an ideal match. Edinburgh couple Grant and Diane had expected to start a family when Diane's sister offered to be a surrogate mother - but then tragedy struck. They're now hoping to become parents to siblings, but first they must be approved by the panel.
