学校に現れない桜を心配して、楡井が連絡してみると、どうやら電話越しでも分かるほどにひどい風邪を引いたようだ。
その日の放課後、楡井と蘇枋は1年1組を代表して、たくさんの差し入れが入ったビニール袋を手に、桜の住むアパートへと向かう。“外”から来た桜は、この街でいったいどんな生活をしているのか？
