六美の指示で逃走する百を追う凶一郎と太陽。一度は太陽の拳が百を捉えるも、凶一郎と互角にやり合う百との実力差は歴然で防戦一方。さらに、つぼみの体を利用して生み出した人間を養分とする生物・桜坊が複数体出現し、太陽たちの行く手を阻む。太陽は再び攻撃を仕掛けるも、一歩届かず百を取り逃してしまう。桜坊を破壊し太陽を連れて六美のもとに引き返そうとする凶一郎に、突如スパイ協会会長・出雲 灰からの呼び出しが…。
Under Mutsumi's orders, Kyoichiro and Taiyo pursue the fleeing Momo. Taiyo manages to land a punch on Momo once, but the gap in abilities between himself and Momo, who can hold his own against Kyoichiro, is all too clear, and he's left on the defensive. On top of that, numerous Dark Cherries - creatures birthed by Tsubomi, which feed on humans as nutrients - appear, blocking the way. Taiyo launches another attack, but he falls just short, letting Momo get away. Kyoichiro destroys the Dark Cherries, and is about to take Taiyo back with him to Mutsumi, when he's suddenly summoned by the chairman of the Spy Association, Kai Izumo...
