具体的には『使用者に対して妖怪が持つ感情を増幅させる』という指輪。その力で深冬と激しく愛し合ったさとるだが、翌日、指輪を使うと深冬の記憶は残らないことが発覚する。それでも、嫌われてはいないのだからとめげずに生活再建を手助けするさとる。なかなか働き口を見つけられない深冬の話を聞くと、雪女ゆえの苦労もあるものの、彼女のコミュニケーション能力の方にも結構問題があるようで……。
