さとるは思い悩んでいた。指輪を使う限り、いくら愛し合っても深冬は憶えていない。関係を進展させるためにはやはり自分の気持ちを直接伝えるしかないのだが、きっかけが……とその時、深冬が食べたいと言っていたシュークリームを持っていって一緒に食べる口実にすることを思いつく。その際、この間のようにうっかり発動しないよう予め外しておこうとしたさとるだったが、なぜか指から指輪が消えていた。
