Major aspects of biology found in fiction include evolution, disease, genetics, physiology, parasitism and symbiosis (mutualism), ethology, and ecology.

-진정한 세계패권의 비밀은 무엇인가? -독도문제, 북한문제, 중국 및 미국과의 관계 등 한국의 21세기 국가전략은 무엇인가? 강대국의 흥망 “폴 케네디” 소프트 파워 “조지프 나이”등 세계적인 석학들이 들려주는 강대국 리더십의 비밀. 그리고 한국의 21세기 미래전략을 들어봤다. -이민족을 받아들이지 못하는 나라는 실패할 수밖에 없다. -일본은 절대 강대국이 될 수 없다. -중국이 미국을 넘어설 수 있을까? -어리석은 리더십은 몰락을 재촉한다. -폴 케네디가 제안하는 21세기 한국, 독도문제 해결책은? “다른 종교나 다른 생활방식, 문화를 강력히 거부하지 않는 것이 관용이다. 관용은 강점을 도울 것이다” 세계적인 역사학자 폴 케네디는“재능 있는 이민자와 다른 문화를 환영해야한다. 불관용은 국가를 약화시키고 영향력을 잃게 할 것이다.”라고 말했다. 그는 과거 네덜란드 사례를 들며 “스페인의 왕 펠리페2세는 유대인을 몰아냈는데, 이들은 매우 똑똑한 상인과 투자자로서 뛰어난 교육을 받은 인재들이었다. 스페인에서 쫓겨난 유대인은 암스테르담으로 올라갔고, 네덜란드는 이들을 용인하고 받아주었다. 네덜란드는 이렇게 훈련받은 숙련된 이민자를 환영했기 때문에 점점 강해졌고 스페인은 결국 몰락했다“고 말했다. 하지만 일본은‘이민족에 대해 비관용적인 나라’라면서 “일본은 이민 정책을 개방하면 어떻게 될지 모르고 있다. 만약 많은 컴퓨터 기술자와 상인, 은행가를 일본에 받아들이고, 일본 시민권을 준다면 일본을 위한 현명한 일이다. 하지만 일본은 단일한 일본 민족, 일본 문화를 원한다며 이민자를 원하지 않는다. 그러나 이민에 반대하는 정당은 어리석다. 어느 나라에나 외국인을 거부하는 반사적 민족주의자들이 있다. 외국인의 피부색이나 언어, 문화 때문이다. 잘못된 판단을 내리고 있다”며 비판했다. 하버드대 석좌교수 조지프 나이 또한 “이민은 전 세계의 새로운 인재가 모이기 때문에 미국의 창조력과 성장의 중요한 근원이 되어왔다. 13억 인구를 가진 중국이 미국을 뛰어넘지 못하는 이유로 미국은 세계 70억 인구의 인재를 갖고 있기 때문이다. 이것은 인종적으로 단일한 중국 문명보다 창조력을 만드는 다양성으로 이들을 재결합했기 때문” 이라고 설명했다. 21세기 새로운 패권국으로 발돋움하는 도전자 중국에 대해서 폴 케네디는 “중국은 이미 강대국이다. 세계 두 번째 경제 규모이다. 군사력과 해군력을 증강하기 시작했다. 많은 인구와 넓은 영토가 있기 때문에 이미 강대국으로 급속히 부상하고 있다”고 주장했다. 하지만 이러한 중국의 부상과 미국의 상대적 하락 또한 ‘좋은 지도력 혹은 나쁜 지도력’에 달려 있다고 역설했다. 그는 “최고의 권력을 가지고 있는 나라라 하더라고 어리석은 지도자는 어리석은 판단을 내리기 때문에 급속히 무너져 내릴 것이다. 독일의 히틀러는 큰 권력을 가졌지만 어리석은 결정으로 경제력과 자본을 소모하며 급속히 무너졌다.”고 예를 들었다. 이어 “현재 미국이 최고의 강대국이라는 데는 논쟁의 여지가 없지만 만약 워싱턴에 어리석은 지도자가 있다면 급속히 무너질 것이다“라며 지도력의 중요성을 강조했다. 반면 조지프 나이는 “21세기 내내 미국이 제일 강력한 국가로 남을 것이다”고 말했다. 그는 “강대국은 경제력만 살피는 게 아니며, 군사력과 소프트 파워를 함께 봐야한다. 21세기 이후에도 경제와 군사력, 소프트 파워 측면에서 미국은 세계 제일의 강대국을 유지할 거라고 본다. 중국은 여전히 빈곤이 만연하고 주요 경제 분야에 미흡한 점이 많고, 정치적 참여 문제를 아직까지 이 문제를 해결하지 못했다”고 지적했다. 한편 폴 케네디는 21세기 한국과 독도문제와 관련해 “일본과 섬이나 바다에 관한 과도한 분쟁을 벌이는 것은 한국에 피해를 주는 것이다. 그것은 현명한 일이 아니다”고 말했다. 그는 이어 “한국의 미래를 위해 현명한 정책은 계속 교육과 기술에 투자하는 것이다. 이탈리아나 브라질 산업에 투자하고, 한국

Ajin: Demi-Human (Japanese: 亜人, Hepburn: Ajin) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Gamon Sakurai. It was serialized in Kodansha's seinen manga magazine Good! Afternoon from July 2012 to February 2021 and was collected into seventeen volumes. In North America, it has been licensed for English release by Vertical. It was adapted into a 3D anime film trilogy by Polygon Pictures between November 2015 and September 2016. An anime television series adaptation, also by Polygon Pictures, aired between January and April 2016, with a second season aired from October to December 2016. A live-action film adaptation was released in September 2017.
Historical fantasy is a category of fantasy and genre of historical fiction that incorporates fantastic elements (such as magic) into a more "realistic" narrative. There is much crossover with other subgenres of fantasy; those classed as Arthurian, Celtic, or Dark Ages could just as easily be placed in historical fantasy. Stories fitting this classification generally take place prior to the 20th century. Films of this genre may have plots set in biblical times or classical antiquity. They often have plots based very loosely on mythology or legends of Greek-Roman history, or the surrounding cultures of the same era.

Iyashikei (癒し系) is a genre specific to Japanese works, primarily manga and anime. It is a sub-genre of slice of life, portraying characters living out peaceful lives in calming environments, and is intended to have a healing effect on the audience. The word iyashikei could mean "healing type" or just "healing" in Japanese. Shaenon K Garrity of Otaku USA wrote that in iyashikei works, "the focus is less on character and plot, more on worldbuilding and creating an immersive visual setting".
