西森博之の同名漫画を眞栄田郷敦主演でドラマ化。元ヤンキーの青年と人の心が読める孤独な少女が織り成すハートフルコメディー。元ヤンキーだが野生の動植物に詳しい心優しい青年・日暮正直(眞栄田)が、生まれつき人の心が読みとれる孤独な少女・佳奈花と出会い、不審な男から逃げる佳奈花を助けようと奮闘する。
