市川詠子２５歳、総務部勤務。ふだんはきっちり仕事をしても大して評価されないのに、ちょっとした失敗でコテンパンに怒られて、落ち込んだ彼女がつぶやいたのは「ほめられたい…」の一言。それを先輩の坂東さんに聞かれたことから、市川さんの“褒められる日々”が始まった！ 「忍者的な仕事ぶり！」 「君の仕事、無駄がない、回らないお寿司屋さんって感じ！」 「その熱気、さながらねぶた祭だね！！」 坂東さんの褒めはかなりズレていて、市川さんは素直に喜べない・・・と思ったのだが、次第にその奇妙な褒め方が心地よくなる市川さん。そして、この２人の「褒める」「褒められる」コミュニケーションが総務部や会社全体に様々な奇跡を呼び起こしていく。
