Haru und Taku bekommen von Yuniko eine Unterweisung in der Incarnate-Kampftechnik. Danach macht Haru nicht ganz freiwillig einen Abstecher nach Akihabara.
As they make their way to meet up with Yuniko, Haru explains to Takumu how Seiji had set him and Chiyo up. After hearing about their situation, Yuniko agrees to teach Haru and Takumu about the incarnate system, explaining the different skills that can be performed with them. As the type of skills an avatar can learn depends on the user's personal traumas, Takumu explains how he was bullied in elementary school, even leading to getting a scar, which gave Cyan Pile the weapons it has. As Yuniko begins training Takumu, Haru is joined by Yuniko's ally, Blood Leopard, who takes him to Akihabara to investigate how Seiji hides from the matching lists. They arrive at the Akihabara Battle Grounds, a fighting arena for Burst Linkers which is also having troubles with an unlisted Burst Linker called Rust Jigsaw.
Mentre si dirigono al punto d'incontro con Yuniko, Haru spiega a Takumu come Seiji aveva incastrato lui e Chiyu. Dopo aver sentito la loro situazione, Yuniko accetta di insegnare ad Haru e Takumu il sistema d'incarnazione, spiegando le diverse abilità che possono essere eseguite con esso. Dato che il tipo di abilità che un avatar può imparare dipende dai traumi personali dell'utilizzatore, Takumu spiega come è stato soggetto a bullismo nelle scuole elementari, riportando anche una cicatrice, cosa che ha dato delle specifiche armi a Cyan Pile. Mentre Yuniko inizia ad allenare Takumu, Haru viene portato da una sua alleata, Blood Leopard, ad Akihabara per investigare su come Seiji si nasconde sulla lista di sfida. Arrivati al Battle Grounds di Akihabara, essi scoprono che anche l'arena di combattimento sta avendo problemi con un altro Burst Linker di nome Rust Jigsaw che utilizza lo stesso metodo di Seiji.

《心意》の特徴と四つの基本技、そして習得に最も重要な、デュエル・アバターを形成した自分の心と正面から向き合わなくてはならないことを説明するニコ。タクムは幼いころに受けた心の傷――シアン・パイルの『鉄杭』の起源について語り始める。
A medida que se abren camino para reunirse con Yuniko, Haruyuki explica cómo Takumu Seiji lo había establecido, y arrastrando a lo largo de Chiyuri. Luego de enterarse de su situación, Yuniko se compromete a enseñar Haruyuki y Takumu sobre el sistema encarnado , explicando las diferentes habilidades que se pueden realizar con ellos. Plata Crow demuestra la capacidad que consigue a través de su formación con cielo Rastro, la lluvia escarlata sugiriendo que le dan un nombre para que pueda tener un acceso más fácil a ella, por lo que lo cataloga como Espada láser.
春雪为了帮助小拓提高战斗力就联系上了仁子，仁子接受请求教导小拓心意的运用。而春雪自己则去调查Dusk Taker的具体情况，在他准备调查的时候，蛋糕店的女仆Leop受仁子的委托前来帮助他。他们骑着摩托车来到Battle Ground，在这里向吧台的人询问情报，但是酒保却说出了另外一个有着相同情况的人的名字，情况变得越来越复杂了。
