Two sisters begin very different married lives, but both soon discover how difficult it can be to find respect and acceptance in a new home. Farida tells Fareesa not to come back with a daughter this time and threatens to make Sajjad divorce her. At the hospital the ultrasound shows another girl, and Fareesa finally tells her mother. Sajjad is told to decide, then warned that if Fareesa does not speak to him she can stay at her mother's house. In the other home, Romesa is still treated as an outsider while their honeymoon is cancelled for a business project. Meanwhile, Rumaisa shares a loving relationship with Sharjeel, but his mother Shahjahan Begum refuses to accept her and repeatedly makes her feel unwelcome. As both sisters try to protect their marriages and their dignity, the first cracks begin to appear in the lives they hoped marriage would bring.
